Theoretically he has the fastest tri jump lol. Cr.hk one frame after sj --> one frame after hk repeat. It just doesn’t even work 100% on ppad so I can’t show it, and neither can joo in a silly doom-relaunch combo.
If you have good reactions and you know a lot about the game you can react the proper way when something weird happens or when you get the chance to do something weird. A long time ago, doing launch --> suki was really weird then people started getting used to it.
I’m pretty sure that’s unblockable. If it is, it might be 100% on sentinel since he has super armor (which USUALLY helps him, hehe) so he has to turn around. Someone try jumping out of it, i’m too lazy.
even if it wasnt unblockable, that shits hella hard to block. sometimes i do that after a c.hk sjc tj.hk, they roll and you double dash. provides the same time of effect and you dont gotta be in the corner
I dont know if someone alreayd knwos this, but there is a 100% combo that involves 5 supers, i havent don it on sent., but im pretty sure it takes 95% of his life, i killed colossus with it tho. the team is Magneto-A/Bison-B/Doom-B
(in corner) Doom cr. lk, cr. mk, launcher, sj.lp, sj.lk, sj.mp, sj.mk xx addf HP throw, then Photon Array Super at the right position, DHC Bison Psycho Ball Super, dash forward a little bit, relaunch, sj. lp, sj. lk, sj. mp, sj. mk xx Psycho Crusher, DHC Magneto Magnetic Tempest, DHC Doom Photon Array ground.
the whole thing needs to be done rite otherwise it wont do as much damage (supers must connect rite). its 5 supers, but if u cathc cable or mags in it, its worht it i think. the only way they can get out is tekking doom’s initial throw, and if u decided to OTG with bison they could roll away, but rather than risk that i just time the launch rite, utherwise after doom connects his throw its absolutely inescapable.
hahaha dood, i really wouldnt consider that a higher level secret that everyone should master. since this thread is more about unused/unfound crazy tactics, i dont think a 5 super techable “100%” combo suffices as postable content. especially since people have 100% combos with 1 or 2 supers that are inescable. everyone knows 100% combos. its just that with this game, its evolved mainly in to a one touch competition. This thread is to elaborate on the many many many ways to get that 1 hit with tactics that aren’t well known.
i never said it was hi level secret and i never said everyone should master it. this thread is about 7 years and going, it never said unused combos in the title, and the one or 2 100% supers everyone knows cuz they only use the same 6 characters over and over and over. i inlcuded combo with team that im sure ppl hav played with, but not mainstream, and i dont know it just seems funner when u hav to actually think and successfuly execute a long 5 super combo rather than knowing how to Tiger knee hyper viper beam 2 times and then playing keep away.
no offense to you RedSilverAnakris i in no way post this as a flame, but the whole game is full of 100% dhc with almost any character. its just not fun when you get lamed out and cant land the 5 super combos =/ .
umm, did you even read the original post of the thread starter? he made this thread to discuss all the hidden and unused tactics that are still being discovered and how the game can still progress and turn in to twice the crack its thought of as now. you need to read passed the title and realize from the first post what this thread is about. and there are more than 2 100% combos, i know a bajillion. solo, team supers, dhcs, i’ll give you plenty of 100% combos that most of them dont even require 5 supers. i mean really, any doom corner combo with a throw shouldnt even take more than two supers, three MAX, to kill someone.
i agree that 5 supers are fun, but the topic is development of the game, hence the thread title. I dont really think a 5 super combo with some low tiers, thats a waste of supers, with a team nobody uses, dictates any type of development of the game.
some low tiers dont need more than 3 supers either. i use omega/samurai/anakris, and 2 supers is enuff to kill everyone. ive been using that team and the comboinations are pretty good with each of them. anyways, im jsut goign to end it here, i wrote a post, up 2 whoever who wants to read it.
for the game to further develop, i think ppl need to start using more “low tier” teams, not tha top tier teams arent good or fun, but the game gets borign with the same 6 chars, and its not much variety when u swithc out one of those 6 for 1 low tier, 2 top tiers + 1 low tier doesnt make a low tier team. its not easy, but its good challenge and fun.
heh, they’re low tier for a reason. they’re simply limited. Half the game breaking shits are done with the Gods cuz they’re so versatile in every aspect. priority, speed, travel, etc. i dont know about you, but low tier is fun but thats if you’re craving a cvs2 style type competition. i rarely ever find using magneto or sentinel to be boring. why? because using them stresses execution and strategy much more than low tiers since the gods can do so damn much.
im not saying low tiers shouldnt be used (thats not what this thread is about). its just that when you’re using limited characters, theres not too much to develop on.
What makes a character low tier is when they have limited strategy and not alot of of effective options to work with in comparison to the other characters. People don’t whip about low tiers in high level play becuase of this. When you’re playing to WIN, the gods give you much more effective options than the other characters.
The thread is about finding new ways to win. and Characters like M. Bison just don’t win that much in this game when compared to characters like Storm. The reason why top tier characters are all you see in tournies, is because in high level play, the players have enough to woory about as it is. Playing with a lower tier character means that you’ll have to work alot harder than the next guy to win.
And the combo you gave was extremly um, useless. No offense, but it’s an escapable 100% combo that only works in a corner and uses five meters. That…sucks.
the game is evolving…and mixup is like the #1 beast in marvel for figuring super nasty new chet out that nobody knows…but in the end…he who blocks the best wins. fundamentals whoop ass
