When I get up there for games I’m going to lose to pretty much everyone, so can someone bring along someone who has never played before so that I will be able to play against someone who I can beat? What i would LIKE for the team tourneys is basically it be a round robin style match… everyone plays everyone, but as soon as a team wins 5… it’s over.
So basically a best 5 of 9.
What I was trying to prevent of course is the crushing reality that our “team” tourneys are nothing more than glorified singles tournaments, where team placing is 100% based on the strongest member.
If people are strongly opposed to this, let me know.
And if this is done, it would be impossible to enter/win the tourney by yourself. You would need at least one other person, and even then, you’d be spotting every other team 3 games.

it sounds like a good idea, but kind of pressing on time.
I kinda dont like this format.
I kno this prevents anchor type of tournaments but teaming up with like your friends friends wont even work. You would have to actually form the BEST team to win.
If I team with my friends from NY who arent that good in that specific game, then there is no point of playing because the other team who actually has all strong members will win.
