Due to KOF XII being delayed, we’ll have to wait til next time to have it.

Dueling Ground

Myrtle Beach, SC, 29588

Time:
Doors open/Registration begins at 12:00pm
Tournament begins at 1:00pm

Games:
Street Fighter 4
Blazblue

Entry Fee:
$13 includes entry to both tournaments and the $3 venue fee.

Global Tournament Rules:

Best 2/3 rounds and matches
Round Robin
Default time limit
No characters are banned
Button Mapping is allowed
Winner keeps same character during a match, loser can change

The idea behind this is to promote interest in these new games, and give everybody a chance to play as many people as possible.

I should also mention, my house will be open Friday and Saturday night for anyone who wants to come early or stay after the tourney to get more games in. Just give me a heads up if you’re planning on staying. (Space will be limited to ~15 people)

I think this will be a really good time, and a good learning experience for all the new up and coming KOF/BB players. So get HYPE!

Oh, and PLEASE BRING SETUPS! (360s or PS3s, and TVS!)

If I decide to skip out on Lucky’s to make it to this you can put me down for dat Brah Broo and for me staying over at your place the night before and after the tournament for some pre/post game hype. :nunchucku:

Dude, every year my family takes a vacation to Myrtle. This year, we’ll be getting there on the 11th. How would you feel about some out of towners coming to throw down with y’all?

Not as far as I know. I’ll be sure to ask if some of the NC players if they’re down for a road trip.

Main post updated. KOF may be cancelled if the game is delayed. Also…if this list continues to grow like it has been (hopefully it does) would you guys prefer splitting into pools or making this a 2v2 event?

Well, KOF has been delayed so we’ll strike that off the list. I think if 16 or more show up, we’ll do 2v2 round robin for SF4 and Blazblue.

Is there anything else we should try to have a setup for?
