The thing that pisses me off about TNOT is how he talks about his own skill. Both times he came here, he was a joke, but nobody would have said anything about it and we woulda been cool. Then he goes on the internet insisiting that he did exceptionally well and that he’s still a great player. On top of that, he’s making all these excuses:
E-Town has a scene, and we don’t. That’s why they’re better than me. - This is bullshit because some of the players he repeatedly lost to AREN’T EVEN IN OUR SF SCENE. They’re just some scrubs who go to the arcade once in a blue moon, and rarely play this game competitively.
E-Town can RC, and I don’t know how to handle that. More bullshit. Only about about 5-6 of us can actually RC consistently enough to make the rewards of RCing higher than the risks of RCing (> 80%). Also, those 5-6 players are all some of our better players, so TNOT won’t beat them regardless.
I even heard about him getting whooped in some arcade in BC, and blaming them on the Japanese sticks. I swear, he would be okay in our books if he didn’t have to try to lie to everyone to get respect. NOBODY has to tell people that they’re good. Sure, some of us joke around and brag about our own skill, and some of us are cockier and more verbal about our skills than others. In any case, YOU CAN’T TELL PEOPLE HOW GOOD YOU ARE IF YOU CAN’T PROVE IT. I don’t care how fucking good he thinks he is. All he has proven is that he can come down to Edmonton and lose 97% of his matches, with the other 3% to scrubs who play the game once a month, Mixblender, and drunk Azn_Skater after he almost OCVed TNOT and then decided to try to RC 360’s for the rest of the match.

Mephy G!!! Yah man. I just started at a mixed martial arts academy in Richmond. I am assuming that you live pretty far from da Richmond area but there is alot of places that offer martial kombat elsewhere. Be warned man. Im still in fucking pain ! This shit aint like your regular karate or taekwondo-ism. You actually get a workout and your ass beaten down like a mother fucker.
i dont mind the work out, and i dont mind being soar for days after… its probably good taking this kinda crap though… i would rather take boxing though… it is more useful in my opinion
specially when it comes down to street fighting… or if u get jumped by like 2 or 3 guys
it would be better to know how to box really well then stuff like jujitsu! in mmy opinion atleast

They did teach some boxing today and they even have an actual ring and sparring gear. Dont get me started on boxers. You dont see that many succesful boxers in the UFC? Tyson would get owned in less than 30 seconds in the octagon. Im not trying to diss the sport of boxing cuz its a great sport in itself. (Except when DON KING IS AROUND) but there are boxers that incorporate grappling techniques in their games and become great mixed martial artists.
