hi I’m tnot (James) from Vancouver Island. I play cvs2 at JZ in victoria … I can beat anyone here. We have stronger players in my hometown because we play once in awhile with mas sticks.
It was hard to play against Edmonton because as WOLFY knows… no one really plays cvs2 here. So i had to get beat down quite a bit in Etown to become decent because there is no scene here.
I played at UBC once but didn’t do very hot(a long time ago… I’m much better now) because I can’t use japanese sticks…
Wolfy knows I’m decent and I credit how good i am to MIKE FRITZ AND JON. JJ and Moe played me too… everyone in Etown… I also credit Mai and Kevin (even though we don’t get along now.)
The problem is, I don’t post here anymore. Kyle SPIDER STING thinks he owns everyone… pretty lame stuff… he attacks my skill at cvs2… yet now WOLFY can vouch that I am better than most players in 604… who was right now, Kyle?
Also, Mai and Kevin do not like me but that’s ok.
if you look at my last post on srk… everything that happened was legit… The problem is peeps are scared of Mai/Kev so they just agree with em all the time. Lots of peeps have told me this.
I don’t suck… just some top players from Edmonton can beat me because they have been playing comp for so long… I got very few good players to beat.
I also had a good times talking to FRITZ, JON, LEE, JJ, JOSE, NERMS, CALVIN, MOE, PAUL, KIM, MATT and many others. I like talking to TAO and CHRIS F and JLC and many others from van city.
I don’t know the Seattle Crew but I think it would be cool to hang out with em, along with WOLFY and play some hardcore cvs2. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I think peeps like LIFETIMEBOY keep the scene alive…
perhaps Jon and myself could go to Seattle to play some real CVS2.
wolfy knows I can play and I’ve got a lot better since I’ve played him… it’s hard to get good in BC… that’s why I didn’t do good first time I went to alberta.

Guilty Gear XX is fun, I played it when it first came out in BC, it was at rush. I thought it was a hella good game with graphics, but then shortly after many people realized as I did that it was quite repetative and lacked dynamics. Maybe I’m wrong, but if thats the game where ppl are at ur skill level then by all means.
I’ve been playing Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction like a mad man latley lol so I can’t say anything. My MvC2 skills are probably still around top 3 but could be slipping since I hear the mighty korean jae is getting hella good.

um ok, let’s sum up tnot’s trips to edmonton.
trip #1:
tnot comes to play me for money, i give him 20-1 odds, 20 bucks a game, MINIMUM 5 games (so if i win, i get 5 x 20 = 100$, whereas if tnot wins all 5, that is 400$ per match x 5 = 2000$). the result? i win all 100 bucks without breaking a sweat, ocv’ed him a couple of times, and he reached my ratio 2 char in only ONE of the 5 matches. On average it took me 1.5 ratios to knock him out. PLUS i hadn’t touched the game for about 3 months, and was rusty as fuck.
against other edmonton players? let’s see…the ENTIRE 3 days tnot was here, going to arcade every day, he had LESS WINS TOTAL AGAINST ANYONE IN EDMONTON than the number of fingers on his left hand. random mall scrubs would beat him down with roll -> throw, and he was like “im just not used to your guys style of playing”…we were being nice, and we were like “uh yah…ok” even though everyone was laughing their asses off, we coudlnt believe anyone could be so bad at the game.
what pissed me off wasn’t his retardness, it was from me housing his sorry ass, NOT TAKING HIS 100$, yet him STILL being an ungrateful little bitch, and he goes back to BC covering up the exact details of his loss and saying “yah i did okay against the top of etown” lol.
trip #2:
tnot comes back for more…and he’s all like “i’ve studied your guys tactics, i can take you guys now”…LOL…so this time cuz im fucking pissed, i’m like “well back up your words, play me for fucking money, or slaps…or hell, how about we play for the money you already owe me from last time since i didnt take it, if ur so fucking sure”, and of course he pussied out, well cuz i was pissed, i beat him down even worse than i did the first time he came…and this is after he’s spent months “training” lol.
oh, and did i mention…instead of being a man and paying up the money he had ALREADY lost to me the first trip…he opted to kneel down in front of me in the arcade like a little bitch…
