yah, good times today at JZ’s, surprisingly there weren’t very many appearances of the big3 (sags,cams,blanks) so that made it a pretty enjoyable time.
JJJ: fun playin ya man, i feel so lucky to pull a win on ya, even though u were using Todo, Beni, and ? in Agroove. and that S groove Yama scares the @#$% outta me, rushdown supreme!

J looks like you survived the sushi place. Nice talking with you and Jae and Dave about videogames. Fei Leung those were some impressive wins. Kyo didn’t do so well for me after you left. The only win I had against J (who won 20 straight with C-Eagle/Ryu/Geese) was with C-Guile/Cammy/Sagat (all 3 are top tier C groove so I’m way behind J still), but I dont roll cancel though so that’s somethign to try. Geese is a Touch of Death character though and he seems good in C with the airblock and the stored Raging Storm.
Silverfang what happened to Yuri/Kim/Rugal? That team would be great in C-groove. Kim infinite. Rugal TOD at level 2.

I havnt been using yuri and kim much these days, just started picking them up again. I’ve never actually got into C groove. only grooves I use is K, A and N. But when I use A I usually only use A cuz I dont like switching from dashes to running.

The ST tourney is going to be at the Northwest Regionals in Seattle. Might as well play on console at my place (DC w. ASCII sticks) … or CVS2 or both. Friday night or Saturday night is best.

Hey guys, there’s a second back-to-back CvS2 machine at UBC now, on a Japanese cabinet. The damage setting still seems to be super high, and I think the timer goes down faster than usual. Apparently they’ve ordered it 5 months ago (overheard the manager) and it took forever for it to arrive. Well, I think it’s still kind of a rip-off, but at least there won’t be huge line-ups now. =)
