Looks like more people are getting into CVS2 again. I tried to start it up up like a year ago. kinda the same time Tao started to play. Anyways I go to school at Kwantlen Richmond campus so Im like 5 minutes away from RPM. I get off at 12 most days. Anyone able to make it around this time for some CVS? I can only stay till like 3 though.
hehe silverfang you gotta start playing mvc2 as well. richmond kwantlen has a pretty good machine.
anyway, i’m always at kwantlen on saturdays.

ponti, you’re Chris F? You should’ve came man, it was pretty fun. I wanted to see how good you are at GGXX… oh well. If you’re at UBC, look for a brown guy who’s about 6’0 playing on the GGXX#R cabinet, that’s me.
oh yeah Navid, to get the UBC arcade all you gotta do is take the Skytrain westbound from Metrotown to Broadway station. Get off there, go down the stairs, and cross at the stoplights closest to you to get to the bus stop. There’s an overhang and a bunch of people standing there always waiting, you can’t miss it. Then just take the 99 B-Line until the last stop where everybody gets off (UBC bus loop). straight ahead of you is the SUB (student union building), go in there and take the stairs to your right to go downstairs. Once downstairs walk straight ahead and you’ll see the arcade…
I’ll be at the UBC arcade from 1:00 - 2:00 (and then from 4:00 to whenever) since I’ve got class all day…

naw i’m talking about the old-ass tournament we had (july). that DID happen. i believe that apoc was still at wa at the time and he played in the tournament too. i played pretty bad hehe i was just starting to learn the game at that stage.

hopefully ill get to play you on friday… im gunna practice Sol this whole week with some shitty scrubs who go to my school… ill practice my dust loop, then ill come to UBC and get owned cause im only good on controllers hahah!! ill stick to CvS2 for the most part while im there tho… ill play you a few times in #reload, but yeah… $1 a game is STEEP.

and the mvc2 games were great. i’m using dr. doom a lot now and uhh i do okay sometimes 
been busy the whole weekend so this is really late.
on friday, i went to a friend’s party and didn’t get to rpm until 10. I saw a few guys still playing cvs2 with a groove. damn you guys are good. I only played one game against A-rolento, cammy, sakura i think. Got owned as i suspected. I guess this shows that I’ve been playing scrubs all this time. but that’s good, since it gives me more motivation to be better.
yah man, it was cool seeing Apoc play, he’s definitely a unique player, classy guy too. also LTB, Peachy and Red Bull showed up for that tourney.
Ya Tao, get that CvS2 tourney goin again, i’m sure it’ll be a good turnout and the locals will put up a better fight then last time! I remember we didn’t hold up too well last time since 1,2, 3, and 4th were taken by US and Edmonton. Just make sure it’s held at JZ’s, i don’t wanna get kicked out by some oldbitchy landlord like last time!

At that time I was mostly using A Groove with mostly Rugal Yuri Terry Kim or Cammy
Kwantlens MVC2 has pretty high damage on. Plus I stopped playing the versus series at MVC2. it got a little too crazy for me with the assists stuff. I’d much rather play the MVC.
Anyways I got a Philosophy class at kwantlen on saturday, but I rarely show up for class.

last third strike was double elimination, double entry, but single round for the first winner’s round and first two loser’s rounds
last marvel tourney was double elimination, double entry and full rounds for all players? post what you want guys
