can anyone post directions to RPM with transit… Skytrain or Bus? Does it have CvS2 and 3rd Strike (how much)? If either of those are a yes, im down for a few games on Friday… if i can make it…

there are no buses that stop right in front of RPM…
but the closest big one is WESTMINISTER and NO3…
the 98B line stops there… and the 410 from 22nd Station stops there too…
from there, its like 3 mins walk…
its down westminister, but i dunno how to explain which direction… hahaha… i’ll let estrella or bernie finish it off…
uh… if yu come in from vancouver, yu have to cross the road to go across from richmond centre =P

the VS. games there are:
MvC2, CvS2, KOF2003, and Samarai Showdown V
all games there are 25 cents except the music games, gun game, and Gundam DX and Spike Out
it has CvS2 but not 3rd Strike.
directions? depends where you’re coming from.
if you’re coming from metrotown, it’s probably fastest way is to:
- skytrain eastbound to 22nd street station
- take the 410 railway bus (bay 7) to the stop before Richmond Centre, which is the intersection of No.3 Road and Westminster Hwy. the ride is about 35-40 minutes.
- walk down Westminster Hwy. away from Richmond Centre (so umm when you get off the bus, cross the street ALONG West.Hwy.) and RPM is on the way. it’s a big blue and white triangular like building, it’s just after a blinking green light.
though if you’re taking this way, you’re at risk of waiting for the 410 bus for possibly 10-20 minutes (and we all know well that it’s SO COLD right now) if you missed the bus or just came at the wrong time. personally i leave metro on the hour or the half hour, and i usually don’t have to wait too long. sometimes the 410 can be crowded and cold too.
alternatively, you can skytrain to burrard station, and take the 98 b-line down to westminster hwy., and walk from there. the ride is about 45 minutes, but the skytrain ride is like 15 minutes. but at least you’re guaranteed a seat and you shouldn’t have to wait long for a bus no matter what time you get there, unless it’s late at night or something.

chris f. : nice dhalsim strat as well (u should’ve seen the air combo that ends with the yoga inferno) , killer mags and sentinel, i think he has more up his sleeve than he’s showing us (awesome CVS2 skillz too!)
ponti: great mag rushdowns, killer sent stomping game and !?@#$ng ironman infinites (im just bitter cuz i got owned twice lol)
henry: Killer Kable, nice run away game, great storm! (this guy owned me on my 1st visit to RPM hehe)
kyle: HE CAN BEAT TAO! (i dont think there’s a better compliment than that hehe) damaging aircombos! (with any chracter but esp. sent)

i’d say the controls at rpm are pretty good, the left joystick is a BIT loose, nothing too bad though
