now that i’ve met a few of you guys, i might as well start posting here.
so i was one of them at RPM today (name’s Chris). met Redtide and Snapback and some other dude (Tony i think?) who doesn’t seem to post here…all very worthy players and nice guys. nice to see another Richmond player (snapback) join the RPM boat
and yeah a few of us RPM regulars were there too, me, b.rizzle, a guy named Henry, and our best player, Matt…who i think got 13 wins between all of us alternating and then he had to go.
looks like tomorrow i’ll see some of the top players go at it. see you all tomorrow!
more like FIFTEEN wins after i took over when he left HAHAH
oh and by the way, that one staff guy that was there is the ONLY one that can fix it, the other guys are these lazy chinese guys that just read hentai mangas by the entrance and slap out-of-order signs on the machines when there’s a faulty button (can be fixed in 3-5 minutes)
i forgot what else i was going to say so hopefully i’ll remember it later because i know it was interesting!

triangle jumping is when you jump up, then you draw a triangle in the air (ala-s club 7) then land down with a gay pose. it’s not very useful believe me.
I dunno how these guys will do at JZ’s… I mean they’re so used to the jap ones at RPM.
Buttons were good enough that I could mash out of tempests.
Haha, I couldn’t triangle jump too well there though, the distance between the ball and the top of the cabinet is too small for me to get a good hold of. If the ball could be maybe two cm higher it’d be perfect for me.
Well it looks like Tao and Kyle don’t remember me from over two years ago. Hopefully Scott does. A lot of improvements all of us have gotten ever since the arcade near the Canadian Tire in Richmond closed down.
I heard my name was being brought up on srk in the by some of the people in Richmond (Chris/Bernie) and wanted to see what’s the story. I had good matches with Nick and some of the other guys today. Unfortunately I will not make it because I already have preparations to go back to the US to get ready for school which is at the University of Washington. Wish you guys luck.

Probably the guys at RPM(except myself), probably will need to get used to the US cabinets since this is the way its supposed to be played on. - Then I can finally perform the Storm rush down I normally would do instead of the other one which you guys see now! Technically I can do it at RPM but the sticks are worn that it’s work that effectly until they replace them with a brand new set. Hmm I’ll just play back at Seattle and use P360s!! =)
Kyle: The damage on the RPM machine had been already changed back to timer/damage 2 for a couple of weeks now. I dont know why but for some strange reason, some staff person is messing around with the settings for no apparent reason. At one point before, the timer was at 3, and the tech guy said to use one second real time (which doesnt make sense, manager told him so). Only way to fix that was that I asked a different guy to do it and they changed it back to timer 2!.
Good news for RPM thou. A cabinet will possibly be arrive the MvsC2 will be moved to there. It will be the one guy one side, the other on the other type thing=).
Err!!! Row and Kwan play too much, like almost every day, skipping class and stuff and play MvsC2 almost every single day on their DC. I wouldnt be surprised when they defeated me anyways loll!! Cody and some others too!

maniac: yes i remember u from the odakyu days… and i saw you get schooled up on gamefaqs boards… (unless that was a different maniac, then my apologies) they’re all scrubs at gamefaqs anyways… if these people say you’re good, i believe them (cuz i’ve seen u play)… but hows about a little competition next time you’re in town. It’s the end of my break this weekend, and i’ll be focusing on school mainly cuz i got finals coming up, but I’m sure I can squeeze in a few ass kickings :eek: I mean matches. jes playin mang, holla back.

I would look foward to the competition but most likely at a later time. More like Spring break or Summer perhaps since I got a full load this time unlike last time, so it’s going to be more hard working for me. Most likely I’ll be putting MvsC2 to the lower end of my priorities until then. Also the other thing is my work schedule from Best Buy which shows the schedule for the week ahead in advance.

p.s. can someone bring a camera too? so atleast we can take a picture of all the peepz who came and post it here afterwards… since this big get-togethers RARELY happen at all hehe
