are there any of your players who went to australia? i asked them today and they said they were from victoria (there is only one victoria in canada right?), one of them is called dave and is white, the other is a shaven head asian guy, just checkin if you know who they are… my friend said they didnt know about srk (i dont think) but knew about t4 and evo and justin wong.

Hey Kyle, Tao, and everyone else should come down to Seattle one of these weekends for the next tourney…this is an official invite from me and the crew. The tourney’s have been pretty big lately with Portland heads, Vancouver Wa, Kennewick, etc. Come through w/ MvC and CvS heads!! Penis out. ~guahc~

You play ST? There’s ST competition here in B.C. we just need to schedule a time for people to either play at Movieland (25c a game) or at someone’s place. There are at least 6 ST players I know of and I’m sure there are more.
I live downtown so if anyone wants to play some Super Turbo, post here and we can fight at Movieland.
I know that Wurvey (from NS but is in Chilliwack I think), and Freediver play ST. 2 friends of mine play ST and so does my brother. All old school players.
I started play ST a little while ago. I use a scrub guile, though Vega is so cheap, he’s tempting :lol:
I think playing ST helped me with my Marvel blocking.
Local ST players? Damn thats tight! Im not familiar with the different locations and such. How would I get there from a near by Skytrain stop?

Movieland is only 2 blocks from Granville Skytrain station. When you get out of the station onto Granville St. turn left and walk up the street, you’ll pass a London Drugs on your left, then you’ll pass the Burger King then it’s one more block, it’s the place after the Starbucks. Super Turbo is at the back. It’s open until at least midnight every day.

Location: The Campus Cove at the University of Calgary
When: Saturday January 17, 2004
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
-Double Elimination
-Will be capped off at 32 man (Subject to change based on head count)
-Reservations will be made to for those that have proven themselves
-Entry fee will be $8

U have two months to train for this ppl. So u better start practicing all ur ahvbs, those r’cs, and a-groove combos…
The machines at the Cove r in good condition an’ r maintained regularly. The machines will be set on event mode an’ on free play. Of course a small portion of the pot will goto the Cove, and i do mean small.
There will also be food specials goin’ on too, such as bottomless slurpees.
