EXACTLY. It was excruciating when the stream would freeze up and the audio would cut out. I kept thinking it might get stuck permanently and that would have just fucked me up. I was fucking invested. The sound was great, you could feel the damn hype in there. The eruptions at Mike Ross’s Ultra and at the end of the final match were pandemonium.

The phrases “(insert name) is on the hunt” and “What do you expect to see in this matchup?” were in my head the next day. I’m pretty sure I heard Gootecks finally say “…and don’t ask me what I expect to see in this matchup.” It was like you could also feel the exhaustion through the internet, after the food got there it looked like it kind of recharged everyone.

I have so much respect for everybody who did what it took for that tournament to be broadcasted/captured like that, for the people who attended, the players for fucking shit up on a whole other level… I mean the final match? Seriously

Pikachuakuma and Akumarosie both posted some SBO matches from Denjin, and are in the process of adding more vids!
