500 reasons you know you have played too much Street Fighter

I was drinking with my friends one time. My buddy Jake tried to imitate a spinning pile driver. The coffee table was a poor choice for an opponent, as it did not yield to his attack.

i was playing Necro once after about 6 months off, and pulled off the 80% damage Electric Snake dizzy juggle on Ken. alright, piece of cake.

someone asked how i did it and i paused to articulate in my mind what the exact motions were.

you know you’ve played too much Street Fighter when the muscle memory in your fingers is better than your actual memory.

you know when youv’e had ENOUGH of SF when you practice practice practice, thinking your becoming pretty dam good then lose to button mashing scrubs

if you’re reading and still posting in a 2+ year old thread about SF!

you use the phrase “top tier” in instances not referring to fighting games. i.e that ass is top tier.

don’t confuse too much SF with too much SRK :wgrin:

When you tier threads.

when your bike’s got a flat and you gotta walk at least a mile home, then when you’re feelin’ down in the dumps you think of Ryu and decide to walk the journey home like a true warrior

yep.

-you pinch your fingers on american buttons, and then yell to your five freinds standing behind you, “I always pinch my fingers on these scrub ass buttons”
-my fav: your fingers bleed after 30 straight"

yup yup

Holy shit! I actually do that! For example, “BooKoo Energy is top-tier”…referring to my favorite energy drink.

I also say “Rush that shit down” while not referring to fighting games. For example, I had my final exam in my english class yesterday, and I rushed that shit down!

And yes…do not confuse too much SF with too much SRK. Aw, what the hell am I saying…there is no such thing as too much of either.
