wc top 5 will be disputed forever in marvel. There are just too many good players from the WC.
since the EC team is basically set in stone to an extent, the WC has the advantage of picking the best 5 people to counter the EC team. I would select the 5 players who would have the best matchup ratio vs the entire EC team per player.
We don’t play marvel like that anymore, (xbox360 and 2008 fighters FTW Minus SF4 cause it sucks) but if yall finally get a team together SOMEHOW then I’m pretty sure we’d gladly play yall for money. But I swear, you guys are the most indecisive people when it comes to this.
BTW: Preppy dont listen to DP as much shit as he talks hes gonna wind up getting perfected again this year… LOL! http://youtube.com/watch?v=aGoB_vVmBs4 niggaz still shitting on him in the youtube comments…
too many nut huggers on the wc. pull your skirts up. yall know who you are. and let go of this 5 on 5 thing. wc took it in 03. dont tarnish it for the older gods that brought you the trophy in the first place you rookie ass knuckleheads.
lol i like kaising over you, just for the fact that he most likely has exp. on you and is proven against top tiers
and pretty much anybody that plays s/d will be compared to clock, which is a falacy i think, because i play it as well but try and come up with my own things heh
lol…just cause I have no tournament experience does not mean i can’t beat top players, plus I play against really good people all the time, like finesse, fanatiq, duc, and all those people. I play against clockwork all the time anyways and if kaising is not at least 99% as good as clockwork he won’t stand a chance, i might be wrong but that is how i see it. But whatevers, i’ll show up anyways if there is a single man tourney. I’ve been playing the game for a long time and I know, im just as good as you that have —tournament experience—plus, i’ve never seen kaising at regency. Has he ever showed up, i doubt it. And that itself makes him less part of regency team. And last time, i showed up for a tournament at ffa, i got 4th. In any case, frequent regency guys(rob, dorian, etc.) has the ultimate word in it which leave you out of the picture when it comes to you liking kaising over me.
Take the top 5 from Evo West. Top 4 if Row or JMar are going.
That Top Five Team gets initial placement on the squad. People from a list* can challenge one individual member of that Top Five Team once for $50, 3 out of 5. Winner gets the spot only. Original team members can rechallenge one time for that same $50 fee.
All challenge fees are evenly split by the team members that play in the five on five.
Or you could allow anybody to challenge, because a $50 one-time shot is a good barrier to non-serious entry. 2 out of 3 can be kind of random, 3 out of 5 is pretty determinative and wouldn’t take too long. If you want to cut off “anybody random” from challenging, set up three judges, you need two judges’ approval to join the challenger’s list.
This would discourage non-serious people from joining the team, maybe, but it’d also ensure that there’s nobody skating by, since they’re going to be challenged and beat down.
From the PNW, I think only Row, JMar, and Kuan are great enough to make the team right now. There’s some others that might be on the way up, but – they can prove themselves. Kuan likely won’t go/play, so I’m not thinking about him. JMar always likes an excuse to go to Vegas. Row might go if the brackets are … less “interesting”. Or if there’s a PNW qual or something so that he doesn’t get boned for living ~2000 miles away from the nearest qualifying tourney.
