I am soooo tempted to get another stick. Already have a TE-S for the PS3, but that MvC for the 360 and TvC for the Wii would go real nice in my gaming collection. Damn this deal and damn you MarkMan!!!

Was gonna buy a TvC stick ( a steal for under $50 ) but I’ll just get my TE-S modded later with GC compatability.

I’m thinking about getting the “Super Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition S”, but I have NO idea how it compares to the Round 2. I also want to mod the stick when I get it, but my forum searches are coming up blank. Can anyone help a newbie out here? Thanks in advance.

Their pretty much the same stick. Some prefer the R2 stick because of the non-edged finish on the bottom of the stick. I have the TE-S and it’se fine, but do keep in mind the R2 bezel. I think that if I was modding sticks for a more pleasing look I would like the bezel to be presenet, but the TE-S doesn’t have one.

In all honesty, with the deal going on right now ( $99 for a R2 ) I would go with that and save yourself like $20-30. I love my TE-S but it’s just a too good of a deal to pass up.

I almost ran into the same problem. You ordered the original tournament stick not the round 2 stick. Hopefully, they can change your order.

Thanks for the open and honest feedback. What if money wasn’t of concern? I have 90 dollars in credit for Amazon, so I could get the R2 or TE-S shipped to me for about 50 bucks. I’ll loose some of my credit at the end of the month, so I’m looking to place my order tonight or tomorrow.

I have one of the wireless Hori Tekken 6 sticks, which I play on my lap, so I don’t think the TE-S bezel will be a problem. I’m curious if the TE-S has a plexi surface, and if it’s easy to swap the art out. I’m mostly looking to replace art, but I’m sure I’ll swap out the buttons to for my preferred color design.

What do you mean by “I would like the bezel to be presenet, but the TE-S doesn’t have one.”?

I’m an art major, so I’m real anal about design and compisition. The bezel (the red plastic-outer frame) just looks more aesthetically pleasing to me, so if I was going to customize it with my own art I would want it to be there to present it better; plus my favorite color is red so it would work out.

The plexi is a plastic cover with the art design embedded, so no, you won’t be able swap it out and put your own art. You’ll have to remove it and get a clear plexi+art to make it customizable.
