RIVER CITY RUUUMMMMBLE!

Saturday May 21st, at 1pm.

Signups begin at 12pm. Come early for some arcade and casual goodness.
We need to finish fast due to a 10pm show, however my house can be used as a backup venue if things go late.

Venue fee has been raised to 10$ due to additional costs. If this extra 5$ cripples your ability to attend, talk to me. I will be offering discounts or waive the venue fee for those bringing full setups for the tourney games.

**We will be bringing arcade cabs **for Neo Geo, ST, CvS2, 3S, and MvC2. Maybe Puzzle FIghter and UMK3 if there’s room. These will all be put on free play for the event.

Games, Prices, and Rules:

Marvel vs Capcom 3 (PS3/Xbox): 10$
Intial rounds will be pool format with 2 advancing from each pool. Arrive early to ensure proper pool seeding and you dont get stuck in your best friends pool. Results from River City Ranbats (upcoming on Tues 5/3 and Thur 5/19) will be used along with some common sense to seed the pools.

Mortal Kombat 9: 10$ (PS3)
Standard double elimination tournament.
Kratos is soft banned. If both combatants ok his use, he can be selected by either party.

Super Street Fighter 4 (10$) (PS3/Xbox)
Come celebrate the last hurrah of the most balanced fighter of its size ever before Arcade Nerfbat Divekick Edition drops in the beginning of June.
This will also be pool play to qualify a double elim tournament.

soooo is the entire tournament double elim or is it single until you make it out of your pool?

Everyone.gets put into pools of 4-6 players. Round robin ensues. Top 2 qualify into a double elim bracket. 1st gets winners, 2nd losers.

Then it’s standard from there.

Stay tuned for any possible news about a venue change. Do not fear, the event will go on as planned.

Oh, and due to AH3 still not being available for download via PSN, that tourney will be cancelled in favor of Xbox BBCS2
