Rules: We are running off evo rules for all games except SF4. No console characters and no retarded button mapping cause you can’t hit 3p/3k or mp+mk at once.

We’re planning to record matches and post them up, so if you don’t want your name on youtube, you better say so. There’s going to be at least 15 entrants from Davis alone, but we’d like to see more competitors from around the area. Last time we ran a 32 man bracket and we’re hoping for 64 this time around.

For more information, go ahead and send me PM’s or direct them to the UC Davis MUGA thread here: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthre...wpost&t=130166

Hope to see some faces from Fudrucker’s with some good revenge matches :P.

in all honesty, how far is this place from concord.

also, your Honda is just too nice.

45 minutes to an hour away.

damn you no console and no retarded button mapping!

i’ll bE THERE!

Most likely 408 will be there again.

It’s closer to 90 minutes, easy drive though.

Nah, 90 minutes is San Jose to Davis. Concord to Davis only took like 50 minutes.

SJ is further than that, Concord is somewhere in the 50-90 minute range, though.

Marty is from Concord and i think it takes him about an hour to get to UCD.

I’m from SJ/Milpitas and it usually takes 90 mins for me to get to UCD.

no, SJ is about 90 minutes. Trust me, i’m from there and I drove from there.

You can’t trust anthony. I mean adrian.

u guys are all stupid. SJ is like 15 mins away from davis and concord is like a 5 min drive. gosh, whats wrong with u ppl:rolleyes:

It would be cool to have you Concord cats come up to Davis. I’m originally from Concord (Monument and Sunshine), and was pissed when I had to miss your tournaments due to work. But Concord should take 50 mins. to an hour depending on how the traffic on the benecia-martinez bridge is.

To get to Davis all you have to do is get on 680 North. about a mile after the toll booth on the B-M bridge take the right lanes of the intersection headed toward sacramento. then get on 80 east and that should take you all the way to Davis (just follow the signs).

Hope to see alot of people at our event. Less than two weeks away!

You forgot the obligatory “Get HYPE” at the end of your post.

Get HYPE!

And just so you guys know, parking is free on weekends. So feel free to park anywhere in MU parking structure. None of this “parking in the sidewalk and having to move your car 2 hours later to avoid fines” bullshit.

Hella hype!

If 3S ends early again, I’m gonna throw either a Puzzle Fighter mini tourney or a Roseball mini tourney. Buy-ins would be $1 and format will be determined by the bracket size.

I feel that I have potential in this roseball game. I’m going to devote five hours a day to practice it.

There might be some sort of Bike-A-Thon going around in Davis on 5/16, so driving might be a bitch. I’ll do my research to make sure I have the date right.

I don’t see any bike-a-thon or any sort of event posted on the 16th on daviswiki, and Critical Mass is usually closer to the end of the month
