yup thats right Sac town is coming out with a TOURNEY! we finally got a place to let us do it so I hope this go’s very well and if it does than you can be sure that there will be more to come. I talked with the guys from Davis and they told me they would be down to hit up this tourney. I hope all of you will be able to as well. Anyways on to the info!!!

Street fighter IV (360)
Super Street fighter 2 turbo HD Remix (360)

Rules for Street fighter IV:

DOUBLE ELIMINATION

matches will be best 2 out of 3 as well as the rounds will be set 2/3.

Sign Ups: sign ups will start at NOON and will end at 2 pm (Please show up on time!!!)

Rules for STHD:

  • AKUMA IS BANNED!!! (EVO rules say he will be banned so im following it ).
  • each match will be best 2/3 but the rounds will be set to best 3/5 because it is STHD and that is the setting it is on for Ranked matches on xbox 360.

Cost:
there will be a ONE TIME VENUE FEE of $10 + FREE PIZZA per person that plans to register for the tourney.

Entry fee (after you pay the $10 venue fee)!

$5 per game

pay out: (the $5 you pay for each individual game will be put into the “pay out” ONLY).

1st. 70%
2nd. 20%
3rd. 10%

Ok so I have a 360 with a small TV that I can bring for eithor of the two games. I also have 2 hori EX2 joysticks with one of them modified with jap parts so yeah I need help. can anyone please bring a second TV with a 360?

wtf, why is Gouken banned? The old shoto dude is my current main character. And I think I can bring a dual happ stick for the 360 and possibly my crt TV.

I got a 360 with sf4 and HD remix, and an LCD pc monitor that’s easy to move around. I can bring if needed

sorry noontide but Its not my rules its great escapes. If it was up to me the only thing that would be banned is the el fuerte infinate.

yeah the more tv’s and consoles you bring the faster matches can go. Thanks to all who can help out.

I got a 360 with HDR and SFIV (no HDMI though), in case one of the others who volunteered is no go.

I wouldn’t ban El Fuerte infinite because it’s not even cheap to begin with. It’s way hard for El Fuerte to get in, the damage is scaled, it’s not easy to do, and he takes damage like a bitch. The ONLY reason he’s able to compete is because he has the damn infinite. And if someone used El Fuerte and got the infinite on you, you probably deserved it.

I got a PS3. Will there be spare pads or sticks to use? If not, would anyone be willing to let me borrow or rent one?

No el fuerte infinite is a joke… It’s what makes him playable. Otherwise you end up splashing a sagat 15 times, and dying in a roundhouse to ultra. I haven’t even seen an American who can do more than 3 reps in match yet.

I don’t think I can make the tourney due too a volunteering thing but I’ll try to schow up later in the day for MM’s. I could care less about the restrictions bc I don’t use those guys.
