i just dont understand why they added a “scanline” option to make it look like the arcade, yet they changed the hud and sounds to not be like the arcade.
-Hit box display, Input display, (Frame-advantage/disadvantage display in attack data?), human (2P) setting, slow-motion setting and proper dummy recording in training mode.
-Show ping between players online
-Online Training mode between players. You can either invite a player or join someone who has an open room looking for a training room.
-HUD display from original arcade game as an option
-Things like Twelve’s X-copy voice, Blue Aegis, original arcade music tracks etc. put back in.
…Watching Virtua Fighter’s newer training mode gave me the idea to request frame-advantage in the attack data. It’s a pretty cool feature, but I can still just as easily pull up the webpage if I wanna know about a move’s frame data for this game so it’s no big deal. I can figure out a lot with just playing matches and the current training modes as is, but I think fighting games in general should move toward having as extensive a training mode as possible.
I also emailed that contact address because I wanna know about the NG, 2I music packs. That music got me jonesin’ lol, but based on the way they implemented the remix music, they can still mess that up by not allowing you to set characters like alex/ken’s, yun/yang’s, necro/twelve’s or sean/oro’s music individually, so I want to prevent them from doing it that way.
Edit: Also being able set Q’s theme somewhere in 2P mode would be nice.
