I have been playing Dan since Vanilla, and Ive played a LOT of SFIV (online and offline)

I have probably met like…10 at the most players that do not conduct themselves in the manner you describe. Its sad really.
Although, its a little obligatory to jump taunt over fireballs if you have full meter and to finishwith a Super cancel to Super Taunt or with Focus Attack Taunt Uppercut when possible.

I play Dan and other low tier characters(Jill,Spencer,Tron ,Elena, King/Raven when SFXT comes out) because i don’t want to be one of those players who plays what everyone else is playing (Yun, Sagat,Ken). When i play ssf4ae, people always expect to win against me because i pick Dan. one guy said i cheated because he didn’t know what FADC was, it blew his mind. i only get angry when players use cheap tactics. i played one guy on mvc3 , he had Sent,Deadpool,Hulk and all he would do is Hulk H me into a corner and he would get in a 35 hit combo using otg’s , and he would do that EVERY TIME.people who use cheap tactics always irritate me. I know i’ve said a lot, but that’s because people don’t understand where i’m coming from when i say i play for fun

Spencer and Tron are not low tier. BETTER SWITCH MAINS SO YOUR PHILOSOPHY ISNT ALL SCREWED UP. And how can you say you’re gonna play Raven and King cuz they’re low tier when the games not even out yet? what if they’re super high god tier? You not gonna play them even tho you like them? (I played a lil King at SDCC in SfxT and he seems legit)

Oh and yeah, you did cheat by using FADC. The same way that Sent Deadpool Hulk player cheated by catching you with a move with super armor and then comboing you. How is FADC not cheap when Hulk H is? Hulk H is slow, can be beaten by nearly any character’s multi hit moves, its predictable, and if your character doesnt have a way to beat it alone it can be beaten by a Tron or Haggar assist. Oh and its punishable if you block it
FADC gives almost every character safe reversals and extended combos. And with FADC to Ultra, both.

You cant “play for fun” unless you enjoy losing to anything no matter what. Because if you “play for fun” and you win, what if your opponent didnt have fun? Now your not playing for fun. You’re playing to win. But with stupid rules to hold you back. Your mentality is just a cover up.

My point is, cheap is the stupidest term anyone can ever use. Even more so than scrub. People that use the term cheap, ussually are scrubs. Just Saiyan.

Oh and if you’re wondering why a Dan player would put you on blast like this, its because I, legit status, play for fun. You know who else plays for fun? Daigo, Justin W, Half the people on this site (I hope) etc. Because its fun to out think and out play your opponent. Its fun to get in someones head. Its fun to master the system and characters you play (I pick Dan because I pick characters I like, simple.) And its fun to win money.

On the topic of 3So hatemail, I was running a train on this room with Gill (simply because they didnt ban him, really) and some guy was raging over the mic. I didnt say anything, or provoke him (besides picking Gill I guess) but I was laughing.
Then afterwards, he sends me "GGS, But you know that two life thing and that wings super is so cheap right"
I was really shocked he didnt send me a message saying hes gonna murder my family and throw me off a bridge and feed my dog chocolate.

You’re not going to be able to fully enjoy a game if you limit yourself to this low-tier mindset. I play for fun too, but it’s stupid to willingly pick a shitty character because you know you’ll lose. I play Q because he suits my playstyle and I like his answers for certain situations. I don’t play him because he’s low-tier.

YES, I know that in the end it’s up to you to decide how you wanna play. I’m just saying this is an embarrassing and weak-as-hell decision.

Haha, that guys gotta be my fav character in 3S. Some people have fun playing top tier characters cuz they’re so good, but the real fun comes from playing the banned characters cuz they’re so godlike Oh and 3SO’s online is kinda wonky so I dont take it seriously.

Only hate mail ive gotten was from my very first match on 3S. I wanted to test Ken’s normal and hadouken recovery. My opponent couldn’t really get in, and kept getting hit so I just kept throwing fireballs. He got pissed and called me a “pussy”. I simply told him to “Hold dat L in ya chest.” He then called me a faggot like 3 times, and I told him to go practice and to grow up.

Uh, why not? If the opponent can’t get past simple hadouken spam (which is actually quite easier to get past in this game thanks to parry), then the opponent really needs to step his game up.

It’s a legit strategy that has been around for almost 20 years, and it’s not even that effective in 3S. His opponent was Makoto, and a bad one as well. He could have rushed that shit down so hard 20 times over.

was winning versus a ken with my urien, had 2 super bars and got him into corner; aegis reflector into reset, went for overhead, connected. again aegis reflector into reset, went for low, connected. he rage quitted and then send me:
