I get kicked out of lobbys and it pisses me off sometimes. The other pisser is getting into a lobby and playing one game then everyone leaves or one by one as they play you they leave till its empty. That one is annoying.

Something about how you’re a scrub, he wasn’t trying hard anyway, Street Fighter is too boring and easy for him and that’s why he didn’t try, the connection was bad or he would’ve parried every move because he saw every single thing you did coming, and he’d beat you if you played a real game like Blazblue. I think that covers his usual diatribes.

The thing I don’t get… if these people are so anal about their W/L ratio, why don’t they just play player matches where that isn’t recorded? I swear I get far less rage mail playing Gill in lobbies (Which Is quite often.) than I do playing ranked…
I remember him sending me a long message a while back, but I didn’t save it. He said all Street Fighter players are pussies and I wouldn’t stand a chance against him in a game like Blazblue and some other game that doesn’t matter. I ran into him today and beat him again. He probably would’ve said something if I didn’t block him.

Now, as for hate mail, I’ve never gotten mail while playing 3SOE, but I have gotten voice rage. I’ll admit I’m not that great at Third Strike, I play a fairly basic Q as my main character. Nonetheless, I have stupid tricks that good players know how to get out of… but less experienced ones will absolutely go berserk if subjected to. My favorite is Q’s fake ‘throw loop’ in the corner. I’ve landed it a few times online and gotten the usual howling and calls of ‘cheater!’ It’s kind of like Scum Gale’s experiences with people fighting against his Twelve; they’ve somehow mistaken ‘exotic’ for ‘effective’ and rage because they just don’t know what’s up.
Not that they care to learn what’s up, either. On one hand, this is a shame; I want more people joining our hobby on a more dedicated level. On the other… it’s pretty damn funny listening to them shriek like a burning monkey.
