What would it take to start a English language 3rd Strike wiki? There’s a whole ton of info spread out over the internet but finding it can be pretty tough

Whoever decides to do stuff like that is mostly working alone (like myself).
The problem with a wiki is no one wants to do the actual work. I’m doing all the boring stuff at the moment but I have other responsibilities and can’t/won’t devote all my time to it. Other people have also done that and generally work alone because it’s just a pain in the ass to organize a project with a bunch of unmotivated unpaid people across the globe. Use what’s come before and improve on it.
You’re better off working on compiling and discovering any new information for yourself and then sharing your finds.
Considering En Sabah Nur has all the frame data you’ll ever need, the rest is up to your personal playstyle.
Then again, hell, if people wanted it, I’d give my two cents about matchups and other advice, mostly Alex-related, as feeble as it may be.

I think the only way to do it (other then show frame data) is to have dude’s just explain strategies and what SA’s and Specials are great and terrible in what situations. If the goal is to educate dudes who want to learn the game then covering when to use Ryu’s Donkey Kick or how to use Alex’s Flash Chop would work best for them.
if you mean translating game restaurant or wikiwiki.jp/3rd I would only try to translate it fully if I had help. I mean, I try to translate some of it for myself and even then there’s some stuff I don’t quite understand even after translating the kanji to hiragana 
I mean starting a new wiki, maybe with numerous contributors? could have a couple people translating japanese sites, maybe player specialists (ie Nica KO filling in the Yang page) etc.
The eventhubs and srk pages for 3s are a bit sparse and outdated but i don’t know much about wiki pages are they free to start? maybe we can just take over this one? http://strategywiki.org/wiki/3rd_strike

If you meant how can you or anyone else edit SRK wiki, just make an account by registering. Don’t worry about the ‘tell about yourself in 50 words’, no need to start yapping about your actual life story, just put anything in the text box that exceeds the required limit and you’ll be approved. Afterwards you can edit anything over there. Have fun.

This is the type of content ya’ll should put in the 3rd Strike wiki if it ever takes off (knowing the usuals at this board or in the scene in general it wont lol), both of these pages are very good templates for what to include and how to put it up at the page etc. along with the 3s Ryu article.

I remember i edited the yun page and included the KO finisher like years ago, it’s possible to revise stuff but how many people actually check srk wiki compared to eventhubs wiki or vice versa anyways?
