The Strong-Fierce chain cancelled into super is like the easiest buffer. Do it something like Strong, qcf, Fierce, qcf+K. This may be not exactly accurate step-by-step, but I sort of like casually doing the motion while hitting Strong-Fierce, then hit Kick as soon as Fierce hits. Like as if putting the two motions together: Strong-Fierce AND qcf, qcf+K so it overlaps each other. I hope that made sense, lol.
…Wouldn’t you get a FB?
Here are the easiest methods for both:
strong, fierce, pause, qcf+p, qcf+k
and
strong, firece, qcfx2+(rh,fwd,short)x2 That’s 6 inputs(piano method). The jap way. You’ll have to be the biggest scrub to fuck that up.
isn’t strong fierce xx sa3 easy enough? ;/ why throw in a fireball to make your life harder?
I don’t know what you’re smoking, adding a fireball makes it easier.
how? you’re making more executions.
Man have u ever played 3S honestly? The fb before the super makes it easy cause u just need to do 2 QCF motions slowly, while if u do it without the fireball u have to do 2 QCF motions quickly.
wow… if that’s quick, i guess things like ken cr forward xx sa3 is like invisible to the naked eye.
anyway, i feel that sp fp super is enough recognition time for me, and i’m too used to it to do it the other way. and as alphastorm says, you’ll have to be the biggest scrub to fuck that up (the japanese method).
also, i don’t mind being corrected at all, but if it’s coming from people like you geese, i have a serious problem. please, don’t waste my time, and possibly yours.
Are you a dipshit that can’t read? Where did anybody say about adding a jumpin fierce?.
I swear I don’t get a fireball.
I don’t know what you’re smoking, adding a fireball makes it harder.
The reason strong, fierce, super is easy is because you don’t have to do each part in real time. If you tap strong, fierce very quickly (before the strong even hits), both hits of the chain will still connect. That’s why you don’t get a fireball. You tap strong, fierce, then while the strong is hitting, you do QCF, then as the fierce hits, you do QCF+kick. You never actually input QCF+punch. I’ve often seen people try to do the fireball and do it too slowly and get the fireball (and the super) blocked. If you leave the fireball off, not only is it just as easy (if not easier) to do, if you do screw it up for some reason, you’ll just get strong, fierce, nothing.
Damn, leave it to Slim to explain for scrubs like me to be happy about ^^…Now if I could only do those goddamn Urien tackle combos…
c. forward xx sa3 is also one of the easiest super cancels ever. u do the QCF + kick, then QCF+kick.
s. strong, s. fierce is MUCH harder than s. strong, s. fierce, fireball xx sa3. the latter combo is so damn easy there is no way to fuck it up if u dont screw around.
oh no! u have a serious problem with me pointing out that ur retarded and u dont know shit that u think u do. if u were so knowledgable u would’ve explained why s. strong, s. fierce is easier (ala SlimX, who still didn’t explain how its easier than adding a fireball), but u are retarded and u dont even KNOW why its easier. and yes i will correct ur stupidity every single time.
and please, dont try to sound cool by saying Geese as if ppl will flock to ur words and start flaming me…i dun care (u should all know this by now) and it only makes ur threads worse by starting an argument with me…in the end i win always.
Yeah too bad u fail to mention that if u mis-time the QCF during the strong, u get negative edge firebal, and ur just as fucked.
I thought I made it pretty clear why I think it’s easier. GeekBoy seemed to understand fine. Without the fireball, you don’t have to time anything. You just tap strong, fierce, then you do a nice smooth qcf, qcf+kick. With the fireball, you have to time everything out to make sure you don’t do the fireball part too early (so it doesn’t come out) or too late (since it’s too slow to combo if you don’t super cancel). I said that already. I see people try to do the fireball but do it a bit too slowly and it gets blocked. That’s not as issue without it. I’ve never even once gotten a fireball on accident when trying to do strong, fierce, Shippu. That sounds like you’re just trying to think up really unlikely worst-case scenarios.
Does it do more damage to do mp -> fp then shippu w/o the fireball? From what I’ve seen there are times where that does damage that isn’t worth working so hard for. The same with doing lk hurricane kick to fp dp xx super fireball for akuma.
Strong, Fierce xx SA3 does slightly more damage. The fireball takes away some damage cause of the combo, but if you can’t do the Strong, Fierce chain, do the FB one, so long as the super comes out you’re fine.
Also, a quick stupid note for comboing c.Shortx2 xx SA3:
d+Short, df, f, f, df, d+Short, df, f+K, whee…
Deadspace:
Doing short hurricane, jab srk xx sa1/2 with akuma does the most damage.
GeekBoy:
Thx for that tip, that’s interesting way to do it.
imho:
strong-fierce-fb-super is the scrub version. it’s easier because (as stated before) you don’t have to do 2 fb motion’s as quickly.
…but it also has it’s purposes… I use it when I hit strong fierce and don’t expect it to hit, thus no buffer… when it hits, then I quickly do fb into shippu on reaction…
the damage is almost exactly the same.
…
ps. I hate when people use akuma and do short hurricane into fierce uppercut, into SA I. BIGGEST WASTE OF SUPER EVAR!
