Lets start listing off all the glitches. I dont know them all. In fact, I dont know many. When you name the glitch, try to give the following information
What it does
How to do it
DC? Arcade? Both?
Okay first there’s that stupid Ken/Makoto glitch where if you kill makoto with a neutral throw, hell breaks loose. Either the game will shut off, makoto will start floating and spinning really slow, or makoto will stay standing after ken lets go of her…and then falls. Arcade only.
Next up, we have that Oro/Q glitch. Oro needs to do one of his snotball supers and then Q must neutral throw oro while the snotball is passing through them. Easiest way to do this is to Parry the snotball a hit or two while Oro is dashing in. And then throw. Arcade and Dreamcast.
Next up, we got the 12 glitch where he cant be juggled if he is in X-Copy mode. When I say juggle, i actually mean a reset juggled by a super. (ex: Ex sidekick, close jab, SA1). 12 wont get hit by the super. Not sure if this is Arcade or Dreamcast…pretty sure it’s both.
ah hell i’ll leave the rest to you guys cuz i cant think
12 v Oro, XFLAT into the lev. 3 snot ball super… leaves an airborne 12 on the screen plus the 12 you control… and some other weirdness with projectiles i dont really understand.
I saw a glitch with Necro in a video once(from Canada i think). I’ve also managed to do it once on the DC version. Necro slides above the ground in his jumping forward kick animation. I don’t know how I did it but I do remember that I jumped and parried Dudley’s s.fierce punch the instant I left the ground then pressed forward kick.
The “Q/Oro” glitch will work with any character, as long as they have some way to hit Q in the middle of this neutral throw. Works on the DC
Dudley/Necro glitch is Arcade only. Necro must get a “back throw” on dudley, and then parry a jump in from dudley, necro will begin floating in the air. The game considers Necro in the air after the back throw. If you hit him in the ground, he will flip out like he does in the air.
Remy/Urien glitch:
Urien in the corner, Remy jumps up, as Remy lands urien throws a jab reflector. Remy does a netral throw, the reflector will knock remy out of the throw, and Urien will be stuck in a (humorous) hit frame, unable to be thrown, and stuck like that untill Remy hits him. Arcade only.
Akuma v Yun: Yun Activates Genei Jin while Akuma does the teleport. Both Akuma’s and Yun’s trailing shadows will vanish. I’ve been too lazy to see the after effects, but, iirc, yun loses the genei jin. Or am I wrong on that one?
Heh, maybe it was the arcade when I did it. It was a very long time ago and my memory is a little fuzzy on it. I did actually do this glitch though cause after I saw it in the video I was like “hey, there’s the bug that happened that one time”
Re: Re: 3S GLITCHES - What they are, and how to do them
it’s quite bad considering I play Urien most of time… but still, thanks god we finally got it. For two years I could play on DC only, when I got my hands on arcade version again it was like wow, I didn’t remember it to be so different (and better).
Actually practicing up on DC messes up my timings, lol.
Could someone give an example of that super-freeze thing mopreme was talking about? I know about a fireball moving during a super-freeze, but not a character.
A character needs a way to nullify a fireball by himself to move around during the super freeze. If Yang could palmstrike a fireball right when his opponent started a super, he would be free to move around during the freeze. Of course any character could punch Ibuki’s dagger when she starts SA1 and be able to move around during the super freeze.
in 3s, when you physically attack someone, you will get pushed back whether it hit him or they block it. If you attack them right before a projectile hits them, the push-back animation gets nulled and you stay right in front of them. Arcade and DC.
