Yeah, Im trying it on the dc version. I do it as early as humanly possible and still dont get it. I’ll try it in the arcade and see what happens.
Ya, thats the only thing I find that wouldnt work on DC but works in the arcade. weird…
s. hk, ex-machine gun, ex-machine gun, machine-gun (lp), qcb+mk, super.
It does work on DC.

I tried that on DC so many times and it wouldn’t come out.
I got a question. Since DC practice mode allows infinite supers, could u reset with Dudley and keep doing SAI for infinite?
How about you try it? Then you’ll know if it works.
I’m sure that the combo works on DC, I do it all the time.

Nice combo, I know this guy who can do it so I’ll go start playing with Dudley!
u suck geese… :lame:
no point using infinite supers since they tends to takes off so little towards the end…
infinite supers are awesome…btw, this past weekend i tried that OTG shit against dudley…man, that shit is awesome. i swear one time i OTG’ed out of the corner and it worked, but then i couldn’t do it again. BOOOO!
On the vid, the guy did it on Ryu. Ive tried that combo like 100 times and never got it to catch the last hit on the second ex mgb. Me and my friend were trying it, and we did the second ex mgb as early as possible. It never worked.
Try it on other characters besides Ryu. It works on a lot of other characters.

hmm…
I also saw that TOSF vid. Seeing No_Mercy use Dudley was the main reason I decided to take him on. I’ve now become a fairly decent Dudley player thanks to lots of practice over the summer. I don’t own a DC so all the playing I get to do is on a coin-op.
Regarding the 2 EX MGBs, you should activate the second one the moment the first one ends. Just imagine that you’re doing the usual jab MGB juggle after an EX MGB, but use 2 punch buttons instead of 1. I do this combo all the time (just for show) and that’s how I do it.
Against Chun-Li, Q and Ibuki, you can do a crouching roundhouse after an EX MGB and then EX MGB again. So the combo goes as follows:
jump in HP -> HK -> EX MGB -> low HK -> EX MGB -> LP MGB -> MK Ducking Uppercut xx Rocket Uppercut or Corkscrew Blow
On Chunl-Li and Q, you can substitute a HP Jet Uppercut for MK Ducking Uppercut.
On the Shotos, omit the low HK in between the 2 EX MGBs. For some weird reason, you cannot sweep them during a combo. The same goes for Urien, Gill, Hugo, 12, Yun, and Yang. You can, however, use a sweep to start a combo (but I’m sure you guys already knew this). Also, if you perform the 2 EX MGB combo on the aforementioned characters, it will be safer to use LK Short Swing Blow as the combo ender (not MK Ducking Uppercut) if you plan to super cancel at the end. Sometimes, MK Ducking Uppercut hits them too high and you blow some hits of the super. LK Short Swing Blow guarantees that all hits of the super will connect.
Here’s another combo just for fun:
jump in HP -> HK -> EX MGB -> LP MGB -> toward + MK -> HP Jet Uppercut
Depending on how late you do toward + MK, you’ll get either 1 or 2 hits out of HP Jet Uppercut.
Yet another one (only possible on Elena):
jump in HP -> HK -> EX MGB -> HP Jet Uppercut -> HP Jet Uppercut xx Rocket Uppercut or Corkscrew Blow*
*thanks SlimX :D!
Ka el nice combo’s man!
On Hugo, Twelve, Necro, Alex I stopped trying to do x2 Ex mach gun blows because I never could get the last few hits to connect to launch them up again.
I was doing some really ghetto resets, finishing off combos with a jumping mp so they land on their feet then going for a throw/ overhead or sweep.
For example on Makoto sweep, jab mgb, sweep, jab mgb, sweep , jumping strong then going for another sweep.
2x ExMGB dosen’t work on Makoto either, there was me thinking I couldn’t pull it off when it wasn’t possible. The 2x ExMGB is very handy against Shotto’s since the cr.RH juggle isn’t possible against them, or other a few other characters for that matter.
PNM, what do you mean by “ghetto”? as in “ghetto reset” Is that street slang or something?
PNM:
You’re right about not using 2 EX MGBs on those guys. They either can’t get hit by the hits that matter (the last hit of EX MGB) or they bounce the other way (Necro and 12 do this).
With your resets, I personally find that if you’re going for another sweep, just hit them with either a fierce punch or toward + strong punch. Jumping and hitting them with either strong punch or forward kick affords them time to see you coming in for a sweep. Now, you also mentioned that your other option was to throw. That’s ok by me if you jump and hit them to reset. But staying on the ground and hitting them as a reset is generally safer because you’re already on the ground while they’re still in the air.
One thing you can do (if they’re anticipating a sweep) is this:
jump in HP -> HK -> EX MGB -> LP MGB -> fierce punch or toward + strong punch (reset) -> toward + HK -> Corkscrew Blow
Toward + HK -> Corkscrew Blow is a link.
If they’re anticipating the overhead link into Corkscrew, you can fool with them some more by doing this after the reset:
crouching short kick -> crouching short kick -> Corkscrew Blow
Good stuff kal el. I started trying the 2 ex mgb on different characters for the dc version. It works on dudley so far. I cant get it to work on yang. I seen that one done in the arcade version on yang. Anyways, nice stuff. On chun li, i cant even get out a jab mgb after the ex mgb. Damn character specific shit. I was also trying the ex mgb, c. rh, ex mgb combo. That works on dc. If anyone has some more dudley tricks and combos, please post.
FUCK U! come to FL!!! The ATL TOURNEY IS CALLING U OUT!
 . You aint ready for this.
I don’t think those resets were good just something to do, even if they know what your up to this still looks whack and you can play mind games from it.
Dudley tactics.
1.Standing rh x command dash with rh neutral throw " more stun personal preference". You can do this semi tick throw thing also with ducking sp fwd + fk.
Mix this up with canceling these normals, into short swing blows.
2.When they rise I like to a Tekken wash dash rip off with sk dashes, looks cool:).
Out of this try.
- Blocking low.
- Fwd + rh chain or x super.
- Sweep
- ducking Sk, sk xx super works like Ken, only slightly less time usefull imo.
- Random chain.
6 Ex swb.
I haven’t really tried doing fwd+ rh , tried it learnt about it years ago couldn’t pull off. Apparently you only have enough frames to do it if their crouching, must have tight timing?
I like juggling after his ex mgb with jab 1 hit then a strong mgb bout 3 hits, reason being this knocks their ass from pretty much one end of the screen to the other.
Combo’s
1.Jumping fp, standing rhx ex jet upper cut, MAD stun.
2.On Elena I couldn’t do a x2 jet upper after the ex mach gun blow, might have to step in looks hard.
Looks like you can do jab mgb then a jet x super picks her up , she falls like a stone:P.
I also did jab mgb then sk swb x super.
-
Hugo’s hard to juggle, jab machine gun blows are the only thing which keeps him up there.
Try x2 jab machine gun blows finish with.
Jet upper cut/ Ex Jet
Short swing blowx super
Dashing mk upper x super
Fwd sp reset super. -
Twelve bounces high, jab mgb him 2-3 times then do one of the enders.
-
Necro kind of falls like Elena FAST.
-
Big Alex is also a pig to juggle.
I don’t have a DC, so it’s slightly harder for me to practice, but I bascially live at the arcades.
More combos and strats later.
