make this for top 3 for each character since i already have a list of the best of the best players that others nominated or i listed…
then keep it to yourself man…these lists are for ppl who dont have any competition or any arcades in their area…a couple top players are on here too so it shows that its not as “gay” as you think…and as you can see east coast isnt the only place with a list…now west coast has a list so deal with it or dont bother posting here and ignore it…end of story

I wasn’t too impressed with some of them, some of them even lost pretty badly, and yet they carried with them a sort of arrogance that I can only assume came with being on a "list."I laughed about it privately, but now you’re spreading this list nonsense to the west, and I felt the need to say something. You seem like a pretty nice guy, who plays to get better, but if a list serves the purpose of getting ppl to learn, i dont see the need to rank people. isn’t that what tourneys are for? How can you say one person is better than the other based on the way they play against you. Seems a little biased doesn’t it?

nah the list i set up (in any confusion) isnt a ranking…its just for ppl who are looking for competition or just want to play friendly games without having to play that random joe and get a “you suck” or “OMG why are you lagging” and all that nonsense that comes with online play…that list is for everybody and if you are wondering why this thread is here…its just because ppl on the WEST coast were asking for one…you can look in the east coast thread and see for yourself…we’re just doing what the players ask for…but plz dont say things like that if it doesnt affect you…now with that said west coast online players need to either list players or just stick to mine and forget this thread

well to me it looks like west coast are in oppose to this list for some reason…but hey anyways its up here for those of you who do care…for those that dont…dont even attempt to type in the post box cuz you just want to say “oh this is pointless” and “who cares” well if you (no disrespect to anyone) dont care then dont waste the time to post…this is for online and has nothing to do with offline play…settle that stuff in the tournament thread or regional match making thread…end of story

SIGH* i already addressed that…he mentioned a few like…these lists are pointless which they are not…im just hoping that you guys dont think its meant to rank ppl based on overall skill…these lists are not for just anyone…there are for ppl who possibly just started to play online and look to get better or friendly fun…its hard to find respectful or competitive players as you see on the other list ive said it so many times…if it is so bad to have this list for the west coast then i dont want to hear ppl in the east coast thread say “this list doesnt have all the good players” or stuff like that…either that or dont ruin it for those who want this to be here…

You guys are making too much of a deal over it. It’s a topic concerning an online version of a fighting game. People can have their opinions but in all reality it’s nothing more than a list of players that are worth playing against. The “Best of the Best” is just something to hype up the topic. Just like most topics on SRK. Just because it says “This is the GREATEST TOPIC EVAR!!” doesn’t mean it is or you should assume it is. It’s not always necessarily what the topic creator intends the topic to be about. It doesn’t take much real thought to figure out what the best of the best topic really concerns.
