i got to meet some nice people… made some fun memories…
i met the famous pherai… i really wanted a picture of you and me, but i was so nervous when i saw you. i could hear my heartbeat. boom boom… boom boom… i was honored to be in the same room as you… its like when people meet diago and is starstruck…i dont know if it was just me i was so nervous , i was sweating and i drenched my sweatrag. it couldve been the 120 degree weather, but i know it was a very small part of it… i had to leave… i came back and i stood outside your room wanting to knock on the door again… but i couldnt… i stood there for an hour hearing buttons and laughter… when i noticed someone was coming out… i ran away and hid… peering from the corner hoping it could be you… and i could walk by all cool and hoping you would recognize me and say wassup and invite me back into the room. we would have an all night session going. but around 5am i gave up. i didnt have enough courage to do so. man im a wimp. I did this for a couple nights, but on sunday i had to leave and go back to my reality. i feel alot better now putting my feelings in this box .its so much easier releasing my thoughts behind this screen… i hope i get to see you next year and get that picture i so desired. or maybe you could send me a picture of yourself and i can photoshop the picture and put myself next to you…your arm around my shoulder while we give the 2 finger peace sign. i watch your videos everyday… Dearest Pherai, Son of God. is my favorite. maybe we can do a podcast or videocast someday kekeke ^_^… FIGHTING…

EVO was awesome and getting to play 3s with some of you guys was really fun. Thank you hold dat for letting me in your room on Friday and the same to Duralath on Saturday. If I didn’t get to say hi to someone, I was the young scrubby ken player. I’ll definitely be trying my hardest to make it out again next year and level up alot.

I will say that I had awesome experiences meeting many from the boards and a few not from the boards (that I know of) and I could tell in about three games of 3SOE last night that I leveled up significantly. Even in lag, it seemed like average players were stuck in underwater SF4 super slow-mo whereas I was free to dance around and jab srk at will lol… all thanks to you guys forcing me all weekend to choose between finding new levels of focus or getting bitchslapped. Just what I flew to Vegas for!

This year probably was the best yet…show some props. So many people I met along the way, and so many great matches I was able to see. Looking forward to next year…but now unconsciousness.

As gracious and accomodating a host I tried to be with Duralath, 2 of our guys, proud to say, were on their level. They barely won a Japan vs USA, to the last game last round(?) due to the strength of their Anchor who was just on another level that night.

Umezono went first and unfortunately beat everyone before me. I beat umezono, and lost to kokujin (3rd round, empty jump low short cork…fuck), rom beats kokujin, haitani beats rom. We definitely could have won. Unfortunately, 100% of our team was pretty faded also. Fun times. Sorry for no vids but the room was PACKED. you shoulda been there!!
