How are people rank 21 (I play on psn). I’m capped at rank 20 and unable to gain anymore player exp. So confused ><
if you’re seeing that glitch where at rank 20 your exp is shown as “1/1” you still do gain points and eventually make it to 21. you just won’t be aware of your progress.

no problem. don’t bother getting too attached because there’s a weird bug for rank 21 too. and i estimate that somewhere in the mid or high 20s, your rank suddenly becomes 0. if you play some of the hardcore grinders on the leaderboards, most of them are at rank 0.
Yeahh i noticed that too, when i bumped to the #1 ranked guy he was rank 0. I was confused lol. thanks for the info
what’s the ranking limit? is 60 like in Everquest?
Hahaha. Ranks reset. It’s like they forced Prestige mode on people with nothing to show for it. Not even a custom class. lol.

Ranks don’t mean much. Especially in this game. Grind enough and you’ll be on top of the leader boards in no time, but MOV, Kuroda, and RX will always kick your ass.
Ranks do mater. When you have a rank below 10, people kick you out of rooms less for beating them.
That rank 0 shit is funny though.
I’m making it my mission to get a ko freeze on the dick frame. I’ve come very close…I think a back throw ko is the best way.
How does the rank work in this game? Do you get more points for beating people higher rank than you? Is it based on the grade you would get in arcade mode?
I ask because I’ve been at rank 3 for a while. At first I was beating similarly ranked opponents and getting 50+ points per battle. I just beat a level 9 and a level 20 and I only got 20 points each. Before that I could barely get matches.
you get 40 points for every match you win regardless of rank,and you get extra if you complete a challenge
