Check out Namijin, Ruu, Kokui, and Frankie3S on YouTube – these guys are all good Ryu players. There are more, but they’re slipping my mind right now. Those are the big ones that first pop into my head.

is ryu suck in 3s? doesnt seem like he has anything excellent to stand out
He is mid tier and what matches of Vanao did you watch? I’ve seen some where he goes on a rampage with denjin. I’ll find them for you. Who is your main character?
Ryu is very good he is just lacking a great super move. SA1 is his best bet due to most of his damage coming off of EX combos.
Denjin is cool but SA1 is the best all around due to more use of EX fireballs which are his best move.
