Hey I posted about this not too long ago in the Ft. Wayne thread and thought I should probably post here too. It’s regarding the SBO tournament in Northbrook, June 20-22.

Who all is even interested in going? And I guess out of that group who is very sure they will be going as opposed to not sure or don’t care one way or the other (basically 1-10 how serious are you about going, a 10 equalling “I’ll roll myself there in a wheelchair if I have to”).

Just curious because I don’t know what your plans are and plus I don’t know about any plans of some of the IL, OH, or MI players I know but I’m trying to figure out what possible room situations might be. I’m planning at staying at the Red Roof Inn from what you can like literally see the arcade it’s so close. I don’t want to book a room if there is someone else I can stay with or likewise I don’t want to book a room on the promises of other folks saying they will chip in on $ and stay in my room but then back out later to stay with other friends.

And truthfully I’m also interested in ride situations. Say there is a vehicle going from Indianapolis to this tournament that only has 1 or 2 folks in it. Well then I’d rather drive like 2 hours to tag along with you guys as opposed to driving 4 hours from where I live to get to Northbrook.

I will probably go but it’s a long way off to commit. I’m thinking of tournies before SBO, like bring the paign and possibly another one in indy.

I’m going. I got my Megabus tickets just to make sure i can get there on the cheap. Though i do have a van that i could take if enough people want to go. People should also be talking about housing.

My plan is to leave Thursday and return on Monday.

As a matter of fact, Humbag and I are currently working on planning out BotP2 for sometime in May. We’re hoping for an even bigger turnout this year. I expect you guys will be there again? :wgrin:

You guys should SERIOUSLY consider the DBQ BBQ4 tourney in Dubuque, IA. Most of WI, MN, IL, and IA will be there. We already have enough 5-man teams for 5x5x5x5 3rd Strike. Turnout looks to be pretty decent; similar to UIUC Bring on the Paign turnout I’m guessing.

It was the same tournament u rode down with me and justin to in October minus the Delorean.

Aegis- There will be more coming from Indy this time. I’m sure some Ohio cats would be down. As Indy is sort of on the way with carpooling.

ArsenalChicken (two beings combined to one) - Nah man that tourney in the middle of nowheresville Iowa is too expensive to justify for me. :sad: I’m planning on any Indianapolis tournament, hopefully BoTP2, certainly SBO, HOPEFULLY just short of certainly Evo, and some sort of SB3 or whatever they will throw in Columbus, OH.

As far as Iowa is concerned, if someone wants to drive me around there and back like royalty then sure I’ll go.

You know what the nicest thing about Chun-Li is in 3S? It’s not her super or her kara throws – it’s the way she bounces so nicely off of LK Tackle, LP Fireball, LK Tackle. She’s so graceful looking, floating through the air like that, almost like the designers meant for her to be there. :bgrin:
