so what other games, if any, do you guys play?

i’m having difficulty getting into or caring about other games. i was super excited for UNIEL but i literally only care about one character, the rest are very whatever to me.

KOF is cool but i have issues attaching myself to a character which is a big deal for me. GG is, of course, amazing but i’m waiting for Xrd. i don’t like ST at all, i have the same problem with it as i do with KOF. there’s actually a lot of things i don’t like about ST. at this rate, i’m only excited and interested in Xrd.

anyway, i wanted to see if anyone else feels this way? 3S has everything i need but it’s very difficult getting other people into it, let alone finding someone with a passion for it.

i could go on about other games but i don’t want to derail from 3S too much and i’m sure you all get the point.

Lots of Dreamcast games when I can get my hands on them (Soul Reaver, Jet Set Radio, etc)

I really can’t think of anymore. Usually when I play a non-fighting game it’s something I used to go hard on as a kid, like Shinobi (PS2) or the aforementioned games. It all comes down to what I can find.

So anyone here ever just pop in New Generation or Second Impact instead of Third Strike? After re-visiting both games again, there’s certain things about them I like over 3S. I feel like combo’s are way easier in those games, gameplay feels overall faster paced, and I actually prefer having one button throws.

Also Ryu with two Denjin stocks is too much fun.

But, no Makoto in those games… and that’s why 3S is still the king. I refuse to even acknowledge that fake Makoto in SF4. 3S Makoto forever.

SF4 Design Makoto just has heavier feet than the 3s version. If you scale appropriately and are careful, you can actually play a very close to 3rd strike freestyle Makoto. you just don’t get to play karakusa games like you used to.

I like Dark Souls 1 and 2. I think I like anything that’s reto-like, hard, and doesn’t hold your hand. I think Super Meat Boy re-awakened this.
