Never said you were bad at 3s (apparently you’re just bad at reading and comprehending like a few other posters here) I just said you lack the skill to be anything other than a one game wonder apparently since you admit that you are unable to learn anything new, and I highly doubt you play anything other than 3s at a competitive level given how you expect others to be unable to learn a new game.
I will say though that if I lived in Japan, I would be the best in the world. I’m already better than most people in the world, and I didn’t even live close to world class competition. There is obviously not a parry mechanic in SFV. You guys are over-scrutinizing a block animation. If you actually watch the gameplay video and look at every block that is made you can see that there is a more pronounced block animation for stronger attacks like fierce or roundhouse compared to jabs and shorts. The blue color effect is still present on light attacks it’s just not very noticeable.

The sound effect you hear at 0:46 in the extended trailer is just the sound effect of meter being built. You can hear the same sound effect around 4:13 in the live match as Chun finishes building a bar of meter with her attack. It has nothing to do with a parry.
For anyone concerned about SFV’s revenge meter and SF4’s associated obnoxious damage on Ultras, check out how much damage Ryu’s cr.mk xx Shinku Hadoken does with full revenge meter. I think it’s pretty safe to say we’re not going to see the ridiculous damage of Ultras in SFV, thank goodness.
