3rd Strike best fighting game ever?

it’s pretty goddamn good

it needs less Elena’s stage though

GUESS WHAT BOARD YOU ARE ON

Guess I am the only person in the world that doesn’t actually mind Elena’s stage.

No best fighting game ever is Fighter Destiny 2 for the N64 you noob.

then i suggest you get some knee pads for all that overtime your gonna be putting in ho

Guess how little of a fuck i give.

Stage, not music, right?
Because the music is real good.

I said a friendly discussion. No reason to be an asshole. I’ve been playing 3rd. Strike for almost 10 years and it’s my favorite by far. U didn’t even give an opinion just a douch comment. Don’t come to the thread if your gonna be an ass.

I’d agree… then I remembered MvC2.

Yea I kinda did. Get off the thread if you don’t like it.

As a zoner player I say fuck parrying.

MVC2 is a great game I’ll agree.I tried playing it 4 awhile but just kept going back to 3rd Strike. Same with Guilty Gear and ST. Cant get enough.3rd Strike!

DERR FECK PARRY!ing! It Blew up fundamnetals and my opstion seLEct frame data! This game needs DAN and 5 SUPErS per ch4ter! 4CHAN!

Clearly I have hit a soft spot.

Third Strike is a pretty great game regardless, the gameplay is slick and it’s the only Street Fighter game where I don’t think most of the character designs are really boring. It’s just that one design choice makes me scratch my head wondering about why it was implemented. Maybe somebody with more knowledge of the game can give a good argument for it but I don’t think it’s going to be Louis.

The whole parry system is what makes 3rd Strike awesome. It separates the scrubs from the highly skilled players.

not really.

also, what the fuck is zoning

i wrote a few things but there was really no need.

just try and bend your mind a little bit. parry does not disable anything. it changes the operation of things, but it does that on such a gross level that the ultimate result is just a lateral shift in mentality. it just looks weird until you make that shift.

Wow. Thats all I got for that one. You must be a scrub
J/K

I think parrying gets too much credit for taking down zoning/trap characters a couple notches.

In 3s fireballs are generally slower/weaker, and moves with long horizontal hit boxes are slower than they were in SF2.

it gets way too much credit for that from people who don’t play the game.

Sorry, but I can’t be the only guy really fucking tired of ‘I hate parrying’ posts? It’s been argued to death and still some SF4 player will find the 3S subsection or go post on Eventhubs or Gamefaqs or whatever saying that they don’t like parrying. Know what? If you don’t like parrying then go play something else and shut the fuck up.

I agree. I guess half the people on this thread don’t even know how to play the game yet they comment on it.
