looks like you have positioned the light source of the stairs in the wrong place (i’ll let you off :wgrin: )

it should be from above the top of the stairs (where the stairs end) shining down

it looks like you have placed it directly above the bottom part of the flight of stairs.

if it was the source engine i would say use a diplacement map for the floor (does ur3 have them?)

Thanks alot guys, hopefully I can get it pretty accurate. I picked this background because I have most of the materials, meshes etc I’ll need available in the stock UT3 assets. Prolly have to make some custom decals for the writing on the walls. will post updates as I go anyway.
