Not a peep, really. SNK is loving all over the Wii, but Sony also dropped their anti-2d policy. Not a peep out of Sammy/Majesco, either. So…nothing really is known. Could come out on the PS2, 360 or Wii. I’m praying for them to come out on the 360…
Bumpetty bump bump bump - I’m playing through Bomberman Act Zero and… it’s not good.
It’s basically Bomberman with health bars (wtf?). You get a health bar in what I guess is the story mode and in the ‘classic’ mode, you can pick up extra lives which dictates how many hits you take before you explode. In another words, another fucking health bar. Oh, you can’t save either, which means you have to complete single player mode in one sitting. It took me 30 minutes to get to room 14 before dying and there are 100 rooms… I’m too lazy to do the maths but that’s too much. And the futuristic style of the game sucks.
Tried playing online but because it’s mostly Japanese with access to this game, it’s lag-tastic at the moment. Apparently it’s not so bad online but so far, from what I can tell, it’s still kinda stinky. I’m going to try and hunt down some Americans/Europeans with the game to try online, see what it’s like without lag. I’m hoping you can turn off the extra lives stuff because that totally transforms the dynamics of the game.
Better yet, I’m hoping Microsoft pull Saturn Bomberman out of Konami’s ass and throw it on Marketplace. Yeeeeah.
Old school Bomberman is the only way to go. I got Oblivion after hearing it was all that and a bag of chips with dip, liked it at first, but got bored with it (haven’t touched it since SF2 came out). The only game that I go back to (and I’ve played almost all of them) since SF2Hyper came out is GRAW. There are so many different ways to play it online and if you get a good bunch of people to play with it is great online (single player was boring, I thought). Since you seem to be into racing games so much any interest in PGR3? You can pick it up cheap and it’s not bad, sorta straddles the fence between Ridge Racer arcade and Forza sim. I don’t know if there’s much of an online community for it still on, though.

Oblivion and Battlefield 2 are the only 360 games I’ve put huge amounts of time into. About 80 hours on Oblivion, 80 hours on Battlefield 2 online.

Oblivion is very very good
dead rising is also very good
if you want a 360 fps to play online id say go for battlefield
if you want a good single player fps get cod2
also geometry wars on xbl arcade is very fun
saints row if your a gta fan since its the best gta clone to date
if you want a good racing game look at pgr3 or test drive unlimited (love the in car view)

The only games you really need are TXR and HF lol. I bought the system ahead of time hoping for TXR online and my investment paid off. yay for MS
