So giant hornets are in danger of over-heating? Get a few hundred of the bees to blanket them, and use combined heat+insulation cook them to death. That would have been quite simple considering they were outnumbered 1000 : 1.

This is how bees usually deal with hornets, but in the video they refer to European bees and Japanese hornets so I’m guessing that the Euro bees didn’t know what they were dealing with. These are insects they don’t really have much capacity for higher thinking. Hell with that many bees they could have clipped the hornet’s wings.

old vid.

i saw a tv show talking about house pests esp cockroaches recently and the showed a big sample of preserved flying insects. The most noticeable one was this huge-ass hornet and that instantly reminded my of this vid, I’d shit myself if I saw one of those buzzing around me.
