Can strider Actually do more than 500K of damage?

that is one of his problems, damage output. There are some odd situations where strider can get over 700k with 1 bar in a combo but those situations don’t happen often. The usual bnb damage output is 450-550 depending no how your damage starts off for 1 bar. Strider isn’t really meant to be played outside of XF. It seems like all of his problems are solved when he’s in xf2\3.

Hey ya’ll. I’m entering my first tournament, UFGT8, next weekend and could use some strider tips. I’m running Arthur/Morrigan/Strider. I have xfactor BnBs, and incoming hardtoblockables, but I can’t seem to open peoples up if they make it in safely. Also I’m wondering how to maximize damage when ouroboros lands.

Hi guys, I’m a fan of Strider here and I really want to use him with Dorm, just because. With that, I am really having trouble finding a suitable partner for both of them. Who do you guys think should be with Dorm and Strider? If so, what order and assists? (though I do prefer using Strider the anchor of my team)
Also, my friend suggested to me that I should use Dorm(Dark Hole)/Dante(Weasel Shot)/Strider(Vajra). Is that a good team?
Strider/dorm/sent. Wesker/dorm/strider. Dorm/doom/strider

If you’re using dorm not anchor he really needs long lasting assists so you can get in and charge spells etc. Drones, missiles, jam session are going to give you more options.

dorm\dante weasel\strider is actually a really solid team. Not 100% ideal but it works. Your friend came out with something fairly solid but there are far better teams for dormamu IMO
Stider 3rd basically means your first 2 characters can perform scoop combos. Preferably without xf unless you’re rocking vergil like padtrick does but vergil is a fucking beast in this game. He’s probably the only character who simply doesn’t give a fuck about XF since sword super is so strong. The only scoop combo dormamu can do solo mid screen is pillar, super. Its solid life but other characters get some beastly ass combos if strider hits like viper or doom then they dump a super so IMO, they work better off strider.

Thats a good team but i would have Dante on point to build meter for Dormammu then when he has enough just shoot rockets to safely hard tag Dormammu in as long as its safe to do so then use his Weasel shot to lock them down to charge spells. Just know Dormammu cant get off as much DMG with striders assist than Dante IMO
I’m not into doing anything serious with that team. I just really want to play Dorm and Strider together 'cause they’re my favorites in the game, playstyle and character loyalty ftw. For now I’m using Dorm/Sent/Strider and WOW the drones+teleports fuck everything up for my opponents.
I’m really wanting to use Strider Hiryu optimally; the problem is I’m not quite sure if my team really suits him. Deadpool & Hiryu are pretty obvious; but Taskmaster is a very strong character I like to include to mitigate Deadpool’s weaknesses, and I’m not all too sure how he works out with Hiryu.
He can fire arrows to allow Strider Hiryu safer vajras and mixups, but it seems like Taskmaster cannot really capitalize off of Hiryu’s assist beyond few hit confirms and just keepaway/zoning pressure.
Essentially; I want to play all of my characters in any position; Hiryu especially. So, should I replace Taskmaster for someone else? I can use Dante, but it feels as if Deadpool’s weaknesses aren’t exactly covered by the guy. I like Doom, but I don’t want to play any of the beam assists too much honestly since I’m very poor at utilizing 8way dashes.
Has anyone really experimented with strider/spencer(slant shot)? Strider can get some really ridiculous resets with that assist.

Yeah they do. They have nice synergy, resets, mix-ups, and DHCs(into spencer).
Actually dorm can do just as good of a combo as anyone that has otgs . His just require planning. One blue one red spell can confirm a 800k combo off a vajra mixup .
