3 in 1 buttons allowed in tournaments?

I use macros, and I could care less if people thought anything different of me. It is a game after all, not everyone is going to play it the same exact way.

So if you do not want to play against a macro player because he uses macros, you are being unreasonable. If you are the better player, you will still win, macros are not IWIN buttons.

Isn’t it still possible for the human hand to pull this off on a pad if one’s fingers are dexterous enough? By TAP I assume you mean turn around punch correct me if I am mistaken. Wouldn’t it be even easier to pull off on a stick even if you are only using one with six buttons depending on the layout and again how dexterous your fingers are?

It’s harder then it sounds. Anything is possible on a pad, especially the 6 button 2 shoulder controller actually with or without macros it is much easier to charge TAP on a pad. I don’t really care about SF4 as I have no urge to play it outside of very casual at other peoples houses, I’m more worried about games that were never designed with 8 buttons in mind IE Marvel, CVS2, Super Turbo, SF3, KOF, SS, ect. While I think SF4 was designed for 6 buttons 8 buttons certainly came up during design because of online. All the other games I listed not so much. CVS2 roll button or MVC2 Dash button is basically cheating in my eyes.

I personally use it, and I think it should be fine.

What would be cheap is having a button be a special move or super move. Haha, yeah wouldn’t that be something.

what do you mean have access? Like he could still c. roundhouse while holding down a 3k macro?

By have access he must mean it’s just physically easier to press other buttons if there’s a passive TAP button somewhere else on the stick. I already asked if what you’re suggesting is possible in the Balrog section, and the reply was that it’s not. 3K disables other Ks, and so on.
