I’ve had students walk into my advanced molecular biology classes and ask “what is the difference between a gene and a genome?”. What you don’t know can’t be helped, regardless of what level knowledge you -should- have. If “calling them out on being stupid” worked, why didn’t they stop after the second repeated thread? And quickly answering his question instead of flaming him non-stop would get the matter out of the way.
@kowal: I didn’t criticize you. Your suggestions were appreciated.
@zirconst: I’ve made a YouTube video with a better explanation. Just send me a PM if there’s any other questions.
Despite your objections, Hoffburger, my “stupid question” was readily answered here and the pointers have already been a massive help. I was making a bunch of errors in my grip and motions that I needed a reference to correct. So, thanks everyone who volunteered their time to lend me a hand. I play HDR on XBLA an hour a day or so, gamertag zirconst, if anyone wants to throw down sometime.
I don’t approve of Andhe’s methods. The only reason why you’re getting away with the top right diagonal input thing is because you’re playing sf4. If you were to play any other game you would just jump and the super would not come out.
Do the motion really slowly and practice. Thats cool that you read up on it and researched videos and stuff, but in the end you will only be able to learn it if you practice over and over and over. SF4 has most linent input time frame and motionss ever. It shouldn’t take you long.
