I would make it myself but I’d have to find plexi and so on for it and I figure trying to find some way to get it a hold of one. However, not even the 2nd Impact facebook does not sell internationally.
I don’t think it’s worth going through all the trouble. There are a lot of custom acrylic case makers State side already. Check out jony froze or foe hammer. They make cases out of all sorts of materials.
Foehammer was my first choice, but they never answered me back and I contacted them multiple times over last year.
Jony Froze is someone I’ve never heard of so I will look for them.
However it’s already too late. I was able to work out shipping and purchase a case from them. Strangely enough even with shipping it was cheaper than most custom cases available at just 110 usd.
Sorry for bringing back this topic, but you received the stick? Can you give us some feedback? I know a few more people outside of Brazil that are interested in their products.
Yeah I got the stick a couple of weeks back.
So first hand review:
So far its been everything i want and more from a stick.
The case is sturdy and is pretty impressive to look at.
The design makes it when resting on your lap its surprisingly roomy and comfortable for your wrist.
Taking the guy apart was easy with a small star allen wrench.
It comes standard with a neutrik that fits printer cables btw. Also comes with standard detachable cable.
Making Artwork was easy having the measurements being around 7h in x 15w in (best bet is go to a local graphics print shop like I did and let them measure and print cheap)
The only cons i have:
The fact that where the handle is, although designed well, the acrylic is very sharp and can (or in my case will) cut you deep on your finger knuckle.
The case came kinda dirty, most likely from customs.
And they way i bought it was strange.
I contacted them off their Facebook and Mercardolive until they let me buy it and a lever (which was silent cherry mx?!? Shit is awesome 8/10) this process took a loooooooooong time. Must have gotten lucky.
But i bought the stick and lever for 95 usd and 50 usd shipping.
All in all I give it an 8 out of 10.
Been using it for Smash Ultimate until Samsho comes out!
Nice stick, @InMyPants13x
Just want to point out over everything that I SUPER approve of the Saint Seiya art. Too bad some of the art is obstructed by the buttons.
I hear ya, Saint Seiya is my absolute favorite anime, so you know I had to represent!
If i had any photoshop skills i would have moved them out the way but I had no idea how.
