Then you would rejoin and quit again after the first fight. Then again. Then again. I kept asking you to PLEASE stop joining so I could fight somebody else, but you would never reply, just continue with your behaviour. At the time there wasn’t an Ignore function, so all I could do was lower the ping acceptance and hope that you were laggy enough to be refused when you tried again. There were no more interruptions from you so maybe it worked, maybe it didn’t, but either way you were trolling me and being an asshole. Your behaviour isn’t anything new to people who played on 2DF, but considering I actually made the effort to stick up for you at one point when somebody was talking shit about you on 2DF, maybe they were right and you are just a trolling cock after all.

Then go play on GGPO for a while, wait a month or two, then try Supercade again. How long has Supercade been around? Relatively, it is brand-new, so what the heck did you expect? Damdai is clearly still adding and modifying things, and he probably will be for a good long time to come. Don’t treat something so new as if it’s a finished product.

My opinion of Supercade so far: I agree that it lacks what felt like a community before, and also other features here and there, but I like the direction Supercade is going in. As much as anything, I was driven crazy by those assholes who never used the “away” tab, so they would be sitting in a few rooms annoying the fuck out of people with their “available” status when people tried to challenge them. That will happen ALOT less with the new system. Also, I was glad to see the “ignore” function added so quickly, it’s nice that I won’t be bothered by trolls like BonusJZ again.

I have a question is about the PM system though: I sent a PM to a buddy to try out the feature because I couldn’t see any links to an Inbox and I was curious to see if one would appear, but he said he never received a notification about it anyway. Are we missing something or is that not fully-implemented yet?

NAOMI was properly emulated (with 3D acceleration) only by closed source emulators… which all seem to be abandonded with no one willing to publish the source (for fucks sake…)

MAME’s emulation of NAOMI games is using software rendering… so the games are unplayable with the current gen of CPUs

Most pro-SC responses in this thread have said that ALOT needs to be done to SC to get it to be a system people will want to use for months/years to come, BUT it still shows promise even if it is very early days.

Supercade is better in almost every way. Client is 10x lighter, interface is cleaner and easier to navigate, and the initial setup is easier for new users. There’s no bullshit, no wondering which game a person wants to play, no more having 9 out of 10 challenges denied. If someone isnt already hosting a session for a game you want to play, then you host it and hope someone joins. It’s that simple. 2df was a cluttered mess in comparison. Ugly website, chat and forums littered with trolls and racists. Supercade is a relative polished diamond!

Its a step back and its gonna take a long time for it be where it was. We will see if it will be better than 2df but i doubt it.

I was just on it now. I dunno about the client being better. Was getting some lag in some of my matches and then the game would go back to running normal again. Wasnt like that on 2df, it was either laggy or smooth. You’re always going to get trolls and racists. That cant be helped. lol

I wouldnt call it a polished diamond, maybe a diamond that needs lots of polish. Good luck with it, hopefully you can get some Naomi games on it in the future.

I think there coudl be one more upgrade.
Right now we have :Create Session ,private session .How about add Request tab. It coudl work just like create session room but for all non hosters waiting.Then you coudl show others what game can be played/someone want to play. Than hoster coudl just press the join buton and start playing/hosting that game.

I’m pretty sure that “lag” you’re referring to comes from the auto-refreshing of the “Sessions” page. You should close the browser window before the game starts, or switch to another url page.

i was in a game where it would lag every so often i thought it mightve been because of that
