Actually several people I play with said that their accounts were deleted even though they played on 2df right before it closed; and also some of them who kept their accounts cant reactivate them, so they were forced to start with new username altogether.
I created about 5 different accounts from as recent as 4 months and as late as 1 year and a bit, and they all were recovered and work fine now. The password resets/and changes took a day though on two of the accounts, making me thing they were lost.
What makes you think password change functionality is broken?
so i got some games in, at first it was pretty laggy, and it kinda smoothed over, now it runs near flawless for me, now i dont have to go to ggpo as much anymore. um, how do i look at replays?
Now that Damdai is around, I bump my problem.
I tried to play Garou in 3 different computers, and it worked in all of them. So I can’t understand what’s happening with my pc. Video drivers are up to date, so the .net 3.5 SP1 with the fixes.
Strangely, when I try to play it from another emulator, like WinKawaks, or the standalone nFBA, it works.
So my problem is with Supercade and I don’t know what is wrong.
I changed my roms folder directory several times, but the problem persists.
Guys, I’ll appreciate any suggestions, it’s the only game I cannot play and I really want to.
Thanks in advance.
Double click them.
Viache, fixed.
Fuun, not sure what the problem is, but youre pretty lucky that the game you want to play is the only one not working.
I was wondering, the accounts saves config files or similar in a remote server or something? Because I was thinking in creating another account if this is true, I don’t know jaja, maybe i’m just saying plain stupid things but this is frustrating
How do I set Supercade to record matches?
No, config saved on local machine.
Does it work if you use the play alone option on supercade.net? (Click the play button next to the game name on the View Game page, or in the Games list.)
If not, try deleting %appdata%\supercade\config\games\garou.ini and garou.fs and try again.
stretch, it does it automatically and will ask if u want to save the recording when youre done playing.
DAMDAI YOU’RE MY HERO.
Your tip worked like a charm, and now I’m playing Garou, thank you very much :’)!
Oh, btw, and helping with Stretch’s question, Supercade randomly offers me to save my games, not always.
After playing a couple of games again, I wonder, does Supercade automatic replays saving works with a time lenght trigger? because I realized the system only asks me if I want to save only with long-duration games
Thank you again for your great solution in my problem :china:
My guess is that, as in case with 2DF, replay is not saved if one of players closes the emulator abruptly (like Alt+F4)
With my connection I cant forward ports for no router access, but I could still play on 2df with hosting people being p2 and the guest, and i could still take the action of challenging. Instead, now it seems my game isn’t seen in the list by hosting players, which I could connect instead, and makes me impossible to play.
If you can’t host, you can’t start a session, so nothing will be listed.
If you can’t configure your pc to accept incoming connections than your only option is to join sessions.
Which has sense since no rooms anymore = reduced game proposals (which is inferior to 2df/unless it will be reimplemented later, of course)
supercade doesn’t detect my roms. my whole history of replays gone. no forum either. GREAT JOB! he fucked everything up.
He already gave everyone the heads up that the replays would be leaving to give you a chance to backup any you wanted to save.
i didn’t see it but oh well. GGPO still isn’t bad with close pings, but 2DF was better imo. At least we still have ggpo. [EVO2K10] only 6months away till we can play till we drop.
Supercade detects roms just fine, the problem, which only affects a small amount of users, is that the emulator is unable to read them from the directory. Until I can figure out why and fix the problem, put your roms in %appdata%\supercade\roms and it should work.
