Third Strike Team Tournament SBO style

Date: Friday July 25th (7/25/08)

Time: 8 P.M EST (GMT -5, PST +3)

Registration time: 7 p.m - 8 p.m EST

How to REGISTER: (ONLY U.S and CANADA): PM me in 2df with your character (ONLY 1 character)

Rules:
Turn out will determine whether it will be 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3
(8 teams or less - double elim)
(9 teams or more - single elim)

**NO DUPLICATES **on a team (NO yun,yun,ken or yun,yun,yun)

i will put you on a random team and make sure no teams have duplicates

make sure you know an extra character JUST in case =P

IF DOUBLE ELIM (Grand Finals- 1 team match= 1 set)

EX: Team A vs Team B (Team B came from losers)

Team B MUST win 2 sets (TEAM MATCHES) in order to win

Team A MUST win 1 set in order to win**

Requirements (ONLY if you CANT host): if you KNOW you cannot host

nfba and hamachi are required

I’d just like to say that I’m very disgruntled :(. I think Team 6 woulda had a good chance in the loser bracket had I not got us DQd.

First off i want to thank EVERY SINGLE PLAYER who stuck around while waiting for me and i want to say IM REALLY SORRY about the long delay and to those who didnt wait

but it seems that the turnout was a GREAT one

we had a total of 7 teams=21 players (we couldve had more but some ppl left)

Overall this tournament had EVERYTHING

from upsets to comebacks to OCV’s and beasting by some players

vids will be recorded and edited by me and it will take me about a week at the MOST to upload them

again i would like to thank EVERYONE for coming to this and making this first 3 vs 3 Team Tournament a HUGE SUCCESS

if it werent for me running late…this tournament wouldve went even smoother…it got off to a rocky start with players missing but it turned out ok with other ppl willing to register…im hoping to do this again sometime down the road…i might be busy for next week so maybe in 2 weeks will be the next one…ill send word when i know
