if anything, this is just going to come out soon and not with new actors. it’s just going to be a compilation of the first three games with “enhanced” graphics. nothing we haven’t seen before, i think if they were really planning on making a compilation of these games with new actors. they wouldn’t make 3 separate games, simulating each of the game’s mechanics individually, it would be a waste of time and stupid.
if they’re really going to hire new actors and make a new and improved 2D make game, they would just put all together, kinda like a new trilogy. that would be the most logical thing to do, rather re-making 3 games and trying to re-create their gaming engines individually… just stupid.

They were re-casted and re-filmed. Not sure when we’ll hear something, or when its being released, but at this point, the hold up is with Sony. Soon, very soon, but when? we’ll see 
Them actually acknowledging the MKHD Collection was good enough I guess. I just hope it’s not PS3 exclusive, that would be so dumb as I’ve already stated. UMK3 is already doing great at tournaments, a NEW UMK3 with better graphics would blow up!!!
i knew you weren’t talking outta your ass, it just seems to good to be true is all. if they’re going to re-film and all that shit, it doesnt make sense that they’ll re-film 3 separate games into a compilation. i mean if they do, that would be the most bizarre route with approaching a new compilation. if they really did re-film all the new chars with new backgrounds and all that shit in HD, then i just see it more likely being a trilogy like game with. basically with all the chars and maybe emulating the umk3 mechanics, since that game was the most fluid of all the 2D games.
if they release mk1, 2, and umk3 as a compilation on a disc, then it just seems like it would be the same game in HD. which, i really wouldn’t care about because i’m not going to waste money on a ps3 just to buy it. if it’s re-filmed, then i’ll consider buying a ps3, but i really hope that, that’s not the case. it’ll be bullshit too, ps3 has mk2 and then they have an exclusive compilation of the 3 games??? they need to confirm a 360 port, whether its on marketplace or not. it’ll be fair to just release it on both consoles, since each console already has either umk3 or mk2.
I know that 360 ports straight to XBL are in the works. I dont know exactly when they will come. It might be a Sony exclusive at first but i think they get it how stupid it would be to exclude the 360 players.
