damn that xbox looks like its gonna suffocate but its a fucking nice cab :3

Haha! SSFIV Hyper fighting FTW!

Anyway, I was thinking a 24" version would be a little bit on the lonely side, but then again, with a cab this small, getting two of these set them up a la Vewlix VS, it would be great!

The 360 should be fine as long as their enough air flow. I did notice some designer vents in the back, just my thoughts but maybe a air fan to circulate air, and blow hot air out of the case would be a good idea. But that is up to aaronactive.

Doesn’t get too hot in there actually, but im keen to keep an eye on it…on a hot day might be something to look out for.

What the hell isn’t australia always hot? Anyway, looks great…I wouldn’t mind having two of these for head to head…How much did one cost for the kit?

edit
nice legs

still nice. congrats on build

Amazein build you done/got there. i would love to have something like that. i love the way people edge there wood work to look so nice, gotta take alot of effort.

The kits are $475 AUD …pretty cheap I think considering the amount of time you would need to spend finishing these things manually.

What’s the average cost to ship one of these to the states (say, Missouri)? I’m quite interested, especially if they’re easy to put together.

They are piss easy to put together… If you’ve put together a piece of Ikea furniture then you’ll be a pro at putting these together

Unfortunately Troy said that shipping these overseas is not really that feasible for the individual as he uses UPS and it costs an absolute bomb to ship over (more then the unit itself), best to email Troy himself to determine exact costs and why it’s so expensive (he mentioned something along the lines of needing a freight forwarder, plus a customs broker or somewhere along those lines if it’s done by sea Ie. Just a general pita for the customer)

Yeah, that’s about what I figured. I guess I’ll go with my original plan and go with a Kraylix - it’s just that I’ve been on the waiting list for a while, and I’m not sure how far down in the pile I am. Ah, well.

Thanks for the advice.

New video update

nice update…paint her man…but what color scheme are u going to go with

Not sure yet, painting is a huge hassle at the moment, i might consider vinyl wrapping too…at the moment I just got some cheap ass vinyl below the control panel to stop dirty hands and sweat soaking into the MDF

Does the kit come with all the wiring to? also if not, what do you need to make the buttons compatible to 360 or ps3?

The kit is only the cabinet, you have to wire your own buttons/stick/speakers etc into it.

You can use whatever PCB you like for the stick, I have a dual one that can switch between 360/PS3.
