Its that time of the year. Halloween can get bopped by the Secret Gifting Service. I’ve been waking up at 4:30 this whole week so this paragraph may be week. What shouldn’t be is the attendance for this. Need to put this as clear as possible:

LAST DAY OF SIGN UPS IS NOVEMBER 17TH, ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE SENT TO YOUR EMAIL ON THE 18TH SO YOU CAN GET READY FOR BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR AMAZON WISHLISTS WORK PROPERLY WHEN OTHER PEOPLE CLICK THEM. E-MAIL ONE TO YOURSELF, LOG OUT OF AMAZON AND CLICK ON THE LINK TO SEE IF IT LOADS UP PROPERLY. KTHX.

How it works:

You sign up and buy a random SRKer a Christmas gift and a random SRKer will buy you one too. This is a sacred GD tradition so do not screw over anybody on gifts because it is an automatic permaban. We understand it gets tricky with the postal office so don’t think its a hammer drop just because silly things happened in the mail. This is usually opened only to members who have been around for a year already (and active GD users). So if you’re brand new, please post that you want to join and I’ll do some snooping to make sure you actually post here.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Post when you receive your gift! Pictures are preferred but a thank you post with a little detail would be very much appreciated.

When Shipping, you MUST get a tracking number. I’ve been lenient on people whose packages got lost but not this year. Get a tracking number once you ship and send it to me in a pm with “Secret Santa: Tracking” in the title. If I don’t get a tracking number, you don’t get the benefit of the doubt.

-I’ll give assignments out in the second week of November. Please don’t ship out right away. I appreciate the enthusiasm but this is supposed to be for Christmas, don’t make your recipient get his present a month and a half early.

There are too many people internationally now so when you mark if you ship internationally or not keep in mind that Canada will NOT be considered international. I’m sorry if you find that BS but last year I had to assign people to others they had the previous year because 60% of people refused to ship out of the US.

Somebody should create a clean thread with all the current Discord resources to help people moving to the post-forums era. We had an out of date thread that kinda got destroyed with random bickering: be nice to have a nice clean reference point for the new generation.
