It never made sense for the Kings to trade for a 2nd no.1 goalie when we had Quick. The Kings needed offense, not another tender.
Deano and Sutter got fired, so it looks like we’re a noncontender again for another 40 years maybe. hahaha
That was the shittiest season I’ve seen as a wings fan. Ken Holland making it really hard to like the team right now, but I definitely don’t like him for the moves he’s made, and his cowardice of hiding in the rafters during the closing of the Joe while Scotty Bowman stood on stage basically telling the crowd Holland keeps his job for taking credit for moves Bowman told him he wanted made.
If they somehow re-sign Holland AND Howard at the end of next season, I’m actually thinking of boycotting the team. Yzerman’s contract is up in Tampa at the same time and the crowd at the Joe on Sunday made it abundantly clear they want him back in a high end capacity. He’s already proven a solid GM and could do it 100x better than Holland. He wants to be there, and he WANTED a GM job. Hell, Illitch offered Holland a PROMOTION so that Yzerman could become the GM and the selfish cocksucker refused like he’s got some sort of vendetta against him.
Here’s hoping he doesn’t fuck up the guaranteed 5th or better pick we have in the draft.

My girlfriend is a leafs fan which when couple with the wings being out of the playoffs puts me into their cheering section.
The Preds are basically skating circles around the Hawks and totally out working them. Predators playing like they’re really hungry but the Hawks looks bloated and slow.
If the Hawks look flat game 3, the series could be over by the end of the 1st period of game 3
