i think they should give ryu ken’s roll from MvC2 and change the trajectory of his tatsumaki to make it more like Ken in MvC2… he needs have a reason for people to play him over Akuma… other than Health… maybe give Ryu sakura’s dash punch thingy that she had in MvC2 to help him deal with zoning, to be honest, Akuma should be better than ryu in the air, while Ryu should be better on the ground…

If Ryu had an air dash like he did in TVC I think hed be perfectly fine. Thats all you need to give him outside of being able to combo off throws somehow.

The main thing that I see that’s beyond dumb with Ryu is that his Denjin has such horrible startup and recovery, it’s duration is too short and why the hell does it cause him too lose health? With all those down sides to it, you would think it’s the best power-up super in the game

Psssh. At least Blanka makes sense in Marvel. His anti-air super in AE can be an assist ala Commando/Jam Session. He can command hop to get left/right mixups like Frank West/Captain/Felicia. He can just chain into electricity and then have that cause a soft knockdown which would let him continue combos. Give him the ability to air rainbow roll (shuma gorath mystic smash), air horizontal roll (similar to spencer’s grapple I guess), and air diagonal roll (either upwards like X-23’s qcf+h or downwards like V. Joe’s kick thing). Oh and have his supers fill the entire screen with electricity and do massive chip damage.
