the guy from Manitoba who played spidey/hawkeye/x-23 gave me all kinds of problems but that was mostly because of hawkeye assist. spidey’s ability to get up high in the air and still call an assist that fast and good is pretty cheap. maybe one of those wonky up arrows assists from task or hawkeye would help your team
Doom is the obvious replacement for Sentinel but if I wanted to ditch Drones for what I used it for most often, which is a lockdown, I’d look into Akuma tatsu assist instead. I’ve been saying lately tatsu isn’t very good anymore and can’t be a team’s sole assist… but bloodabeast was right. magneto+akuma can go HAM. like, jesus christ. you just go in and get at least two high/lows and can set up all kinds of fuzzies and stupid cross ups. but, you need very smooth movement to consistently convert off tatsu.
full screen I don’t think Mags really needs the help plasma beam gives him and the lockdown isn’t that long. but there are so many other compelling reasons to pick Doom, like the infinites, safe DHCs, and just raw damage
haha… maybe i was a little dramatic but you get the point… movement with spidey in the air is hard due to the threat of shockwave seeing as HE CAN’T BLOCK MOST OF THE TIME… I’m sorry i had to spell that out for you…
I never said shockwave destroys spider Man’s game… i was very specific… and i’m pretty sure if 98% of the cast is in the air doing anything besides jumping against DR Strange they get blown up by SOV x factor cancel into death… even phoenix gets clipped by the last few frames if she doesn’t x factor herself… only two characters that get out is morrigan and sentinel…
Dante’s Million CaratsxxDT sort of counts. If the opponent pushblocks, DT negates the push and it’s a free grab. Otherwise, it’s a literally unseeable mixup and the opponent needs to make a guess.
So I believe I screwed myself over learning how to play Doom.
I learned Tacs, infinites, and footdive before anything else lol.
How do I fix this? Or is solo neutral with this fool so ass that I’m better off making Vergil/Mags bffs over Vergil/Doom?
I completely agree with you when it comes to Mags. Mags is probably the best character to pair with Drones assist, but stuff like Tatsu and Shopping Cart aren’t bad for him either. He loves the lockdown. Plasma Beam is better than Drones for the rushdown characters without an answer at fullscreen.
I used to thing wong’s team sucked, but these infinites are really a huge plus to his team
watching him get 5 bars then do typhoon xx hailstorm dhc beserker charge on incoming is just nuts
Obviously, there are better teams still, but it’s amazing how much meter can help certain teams.
He does some alright stuff here. Uses more special moves than Dieminion any way. Probably be a while before people get FoF loops more optimal in tourney. Didn’t really use enough mystic sword from longer ranges for my tastes either.
I’ll have to check out this Polish guy.
Not surprised at that Aziik guy. You have to have good execution to play KOF any way.
Had the pleasure of vsing Low Tier Face yesterday. Although the matches went my way like completely (and getting that 5 golden letters was the best feeling in the world), his Strange is by far the best I’ve ever seen. Mixups out the wazoo, and FoF loops for days without dropping a single one. His execution is great.
At one point, he did this odd combo where he was set up a glyph, used SoV and somehow followed it up using that glyph into another full combo. Good stuff.
. I think PolishSausage is a pretty good player though, really good execution too.
