Even plinking didn’t help? I mean I cant plink personally so I try to do my links legit full time but for some that helps.
What you can do is to learn a new combo. Street Fighter games are always flexible when it comes to coming up with combos and setups unlike MK.
True but guile doesn’t really have many other than that one combo and going into the boost combo.

It helped a little yes. But I don’t find that u can rely on plinking. One should beable to do the combo without it and only use plinking as a safety net.
I find I can do it fairly decently while in training mode and starting off with a jump in lk (I’m talking bout sf4 btw). But I can’t do it in a match especially with my mind trying to process the confirm.
I like this, but it is good practice to get used to plinking. That said, it’s a bit harder to plink in this game BECAUSE of the chain system IMO. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong , but usually I just force myself to get the timing down.
Yeah I’m pretty sure the chain system makes it harder. I generally don’t plink though I was never really good at it to begin with. XD
Quick question and I’m sorry if this is in the completely wrong place.
I haven’t followed the patches made to SFxTK in a very long time and playing on the 360. Is there still no way to play on-line co-op with a friend on the same xbox?

The new patch notes posted on 12/7/2012 have been merged with these posts. New/Updated lines are marked with *. The Tekken cast, guest characters and any system changes will be merged in when they become available.
You should always plink when you can. Just like stance cancels, FADC, double taps… Its all execution. Its about landing it in the most consistent matter, not whether you can do the combo with or without a plink. That is irrelevant because the fact of the matter is that plinking DOES exist. Learning the plink itself is just as important as learning the combo. Just keep practicing and before you know it that stuff will be second nature I remember one time someone asked Daigo why he was double tapping fireballs and he basically said “well, why wouldn’t I?”

Indeed, I wondered why I hadn’t heard anyone mention it before. It wasn’t listed. So we are going to get more of those “surprise, muthafucka’” changes. Could be good, I’ll remain optimistic.
