Yea though this should be Andy’s last shot. The run was working in the second half but was hardly used in the first where it would have been more helpful…
I don’t think I’ll ever understand Andy Reid. He refuses to establish a running threat at the start of the game. Everybody knows he loves going deep at the start and it hasn’t worked since last season b/c everybody is ready for it at this point. This offense works when McCoy is getting the ball on 1st down. This isn’t rocket science. Combine that with the fact that they’ve convinced Vick not to run and you’re giving defenses an open invitation to pin their ears back and go hard at him every play. At this point Vick is NOT safer in the pocket. The only way for this offense to be consistant is to get establish McCoy at the start of the game.
The scary thing is that even with all that, the Eagles STILL could’ve won this game. I don’t often put an entire loss on a coaching staff, but they get majority of it this time.
Idk, while a good amount is on a terrible game plan, I think a lot of credit should be given to Arizona. They had an excellent gameplan in place. Half the reason Vick’s getting hit so much is that no one is getting open and their rush is solid. Offensive gameplan was great, as they actually called a game to suit Kolb’s strengths and hide the weakness of their O-Line not to mention get Fitz involved who was mostly invisible for their first two games of the season.
But this was a destined loss for Philly. Always do bad against QB’s they get rid of, we were going to the West Coast, Arizona always owns us to begin with, just came off a big win, and it didn’t help that we had no Maclin for the game either which, with the way the coverage played, was a huge loss.
But honestly, I’ll say it again, Arizona is the best team in the NFC right now. No doubt in my mind right now. I don’t have too much shame in losing to them, just wish it was actually a respectable game.

So from the looks of things it appears that the Arizona Def is the hot thing to get in fantasy now. Im surprised these experts havent talked about them yet. At least I know im going to win regardless since im 117.10 to his 86.98 and Russell Wilson will be playing tomorrow night. I feel better about Matt Schaub now. I was worried for a min.
Atlanta doesn’t impress me for shit yet. It’s the same story with them year after year, do well in the regular season, suck it up in the playoffs. I know Whisenhunt can get his boys ready for a playoff run when they get that far, Atlanta has NOT proven they can do that.

Unless the entire NFC sucks it up, I’m not giving Atlanta number 1 in the conference until they win a playoff game.

Nah no team is just “that” good or as good as we thought they were. Every team this year looks really beatable or all have obvious flaws.
Every team in the playoffs are tough, that’s why they make the playoffs in the first place.
